Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

You have turned your eyes from peering into the natural to peering into the arcane. Harnessing the primal magic of the land you have drawn out the weave from its endless journey through realities, tethering it to the air itself. This union of Arcane and Primal has created a sentient cloud mount known as a Cloudweave, nature infused with the weave.

Cloudweaver Magic

Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Cloudweavers Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Wispweaver

You harness the magic of the air to create a Cloud mount. The Cloud acts during your turn. It can move on its own, but the only action it takes is the Dodge action unless you use a bonus action on your turn to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or the hide action. You can expend your reaction to have the Cloud use one of its reaction abilities, the cloud cannot use its reaction otherwise.

Cloudweave

Speed 40 ft. hover

Whispy Movements - The Cloud cannot be damaged by normal attacks or magic. If a special effect such as a strong gust of wind or explosion would disperse the cloud, it reappears in its previous location at the start of your next turn. The Cloud can occupy the space of other creatures.

Wisp Wraps - You can mount the Cloudweave without expending any movement as long as it is occupying your space.

Actions

Obfuscate - The Cloudweave attaches to a creature within 5 ft of it, occupying its space. While the Cloudweave is attached you have advantage on your first attack roll against that creature. If the creature leaves its space the Cloudweave detaches.

Fog Cover - The Cloudweave attaches to a creature within 5 ft of it, occupying its space. Until the start of its next turn, the creature can add 1 to its AC.

Carry -  The Cloudweave attaches to a willing creature within 5 ft of it, the creature is considered to have mounted the Cloudweave.

Reactions - (Cost your reaction to use)

Recall - While not mounting your Cloudweave, you can use your reaction to recall your Cloudweave to your space and mount it if it is within 80 ft of you.

Misty Threads

Your connection to your Cloudweave has grown. Its speed and recall ability improve and it gains the following abilities.

Weave's Junction - When you target a creature with a spell you can send your Cloudweave to occupy that creature's space, it can then immediately use its Obfuscate or Fog Cover ability as part of the casting.

Rescue - When a creature other than you within 50 ft of your Cloudweave is attacked, you can use your reaction to send the Cloudweave to its space adding 1 to the creature's AC. If the attack misses, you can move the creature up to 10 ft in a direction of your choice.
