Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this archetype are diverse: hired killers, spies, bounty hunters, and even specially anointed priests trained to exterminate the enemies of their deity. Stealth and the shadows help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.

Assassinate

Starting at 3rd level, you are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your enemies. When you have advantage and make a hit against your enemy, it is a critical hit. You can make this strike only once per turn. You get a number of automatic critical hits per long rest: you get one at third level, a second at sixth level, and a third at 12th level.

Shadow Step

At 9th level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 90 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.

Shadow Form

By 13th level, you have learned to become one with the shadows. While in dim light or darkness, you have resistance to damage that isn’t force, psychic, or radiant.

Death Strike

Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you attack and use your assassinate feature, the target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature.

Shadow Magic

Once per day you can cast Pass without Trace and Blur without the use of components.
