Base Class: Barbarian
You were once a renown warrior, famous for your unrelenting combat prowess. You were famous for it even (and to some, infamous).Yet, none of that mattered to you, though. All you wanted was too finish that vendetta you set out for yourself years ago... unfortunately; however, you were slain. You are somewhere between living & undead. You were slain, and yet you still live although you are....changed. Does not matter because all you can focus on is the endless rage you feel inside. "Push forward!", you tell yourself. God help whom/what your rage focuses on. For there is no stopping you.
Born in the Umbral
Starting at 3rd level, your eyes have adapted to see through the darkness of the afterlife. You gain darkvision with a range of 100ft.
In addition, when you rage, shadowy beings raise themselves from the ground. These beings infuse themselves into your weapon(s). When you hit a enemy with your melee attack, while raging, they see visions of their impending death. They take double your rage damage as psychic damage.
Your rage brings out the inner darkness you harbor, as shadows dance around you. While raging, the area around you within 10ft. is considered partly obscured.
Umbral Hunger
Starting at 6th level, shadows reap the souls of unfortunate creatures souls. Allowing you yo regenerate your wounds and fortify your body. At the end of your turn, if you, anyone in your party, or any creature under your control killed one or more creatures whose CR is greater than 1, you regain hit points equal to your barbarian level. If doing so would grant you more hit points than you can have, you gain temporary hit points equal to the amount of excess hit points received.
Grasping Shadows
Starting at 10th level, you can command shadows around you to bring your enemies in close. While raging, you get a bonus action that allows you to use shadows to pull creatures into your mantle of darkness. A creature must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC equal to 8+ your Con. modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature is pulled next to you, and frightened for one round.
You may use this ability the number of times equal to your Constitution modifier, before you need to take a long rest.
Umbra Mortem
Starting at 14th level, the darkness from within you emanates with even greater force then ever. While raging, you are under the effects of the shadows of moil spell. The spell ends when your rage ends.
In addition, psychic damage done while raging now does 3x rage damage bonus.
