Base Class: Cleric
Clerics of this domain tend to follow one of these two stances, serve to see creation be undone or be a challenger of its purpose. Some may just revel and delight in unraveling, or accept the natural decay of life. Gods of this domain can range from the most vile evil to a hope lending helper, it all depends on the purpose of their destruction and how it furthers or delays others.
Bonus Proficiency
1st-level Destruction Domain feature
You gain proficiency in heavy armor.
Ready To End
1st-level Destruction Domain feature
You have prepared for the demise of others. When a creature within 30 feet of you is rolling for damage, you can make them deal an additional 1d4 + your proficiency bonus of force damage.
You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus until you take a long rest. When you reach higher levels in this class the die size increases, 1d6 at 3rd level, 1d8 at 8th level, and 1d10 at 14th level.
Channel Divinity: Ruin to All
2nd-level Destruction Domain feature
As an action, create a 20 foot sphere of destruction that can be harnessed by your allies for 1 minute. For the duration, when a creature is rolling for damage, they can use a damage die one die size higher (for example. 1d6 would now be a d8 instead. Meaning a rogue’s sneak attack would be d8’s while under this effect).
Channel Divinity: Impending Sunder
6th-level Destruction Domain feature
As a bonus action, you cause the life of creatures to slowly decay. For a minute, when you cast a damaging spell, choose a creature you damaged to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes incapacitated, can't be affected by spells such as greater restoration or lesser restoration, or regain hit points until the end of your next turn. On a success, the creature suffers none of the effects.
Divine Strike
8th-level Destruction Domain feature
You gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 force damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
Obliteration
17th level Destruction Domain feature
You cause a grand opening for iratictication to come forth from your deity. As an action, choose a point within 150-feet of you and 100 foot radius appears for 1 minute. Everything within the radius suffers the following:
- They are dealt 25 force damage when the radius appears and at the start of their turn. This damage bypasses resistance and immunities.
- Creatures treat the area as difficult terrain and can't move more than 30 feet per turn.
- When any object, structure, or creature is reduced to 0 hit points by this feature they can't be returned to life, are reduced to a pile of fine gray dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a true resurrection or wish spell.
Once you use this feature, you must take a long rest to use it again.
