Mayonnaise Domain

Clerics of the mayonnaise domain are very rare. Much because there are very few people who love an ingredient so vigorously as them.

They are given a divine blessing from their God to use mayonaise as their spell casting focus and holy symbol. Why? (nobody really knows...)

Instead of praying to your God like a normal cleric, you commune by eating a pot filled with mayonaise each day before bed.

All their spells are mayonaise themed. (in case that wasnt clear.)

Your goal is to spread your love of mayonaise to the world, whether they like it or not!

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with the persuation skill.

You also have advantage on persuading people on how good mayonnaise is.

Slippery Situation

At 1st level, your powers as a mayonaise priest start. You can cast the grease spell with the following modifications:

- The spells targets only one creature, who is covered in a thick layer of mayonaise. The target must make a DEX save at the end of its turns, if it has moved at all during it. Falling prone on a failed save.

- If the creature succeds in 2 saving trows in a row, the spell ends.

You can use this feature a number of times equals to 1+ your proficiency bonus.

Channel Divinity: Boon of the Spoon

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to help your party.

As an action, you present your holy spoon of mayonaise and a similar spoon appears in front of a number of creatures you can see. (Up to 1+ your WIS modifier.) This has a range of 60 feet.

Each creature can immediately use its reaction to gooble up the spoon and gain the effect of the bless spell for a number of round equal to your proficiency modifier.

Feed the non believers

Beginning at 6th level, your mayonnaise priest powers increase. You can now, not only help but hurt.

As an action, you can force feed a spoon of expired mayonnaise to an enemy. The enemy must succed on a CON saving throw or become poisoned until the end of your next turn.

Each time you use this on the same creature, the DC goes up by one, because of the violent nature of the expired mayonnaise being shoved down their throat.

You can use this feature a number of times equals to 1+ your WIS modifier.

Flood the veins

Starting at 8th level, as the power of mayonnaise floods your veins, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Mayonnaise Master

Starting at 17th level, you are now a high priest of mayonnaise and that comes with some heavy improvments.

As an action on your turn you can transform yourself into the avatar of mayonnaise. You gain the following beneficies while in this form:

- You are resistant to slashing, bludgeoning and piercing dmg.

- Each time a creature attacks you, their weapon gets covered in mayonnaise, meaning that the next attack they make against you has disavantage. (once per turn)

- The ground 15ft around you turns into dificult terrain, and if an enemy ends their turn there, they must make a STR save or have their speed reduced to 0 until the start of their turn.

This tranformation lasts for a number of rounds equals to your proficiency bonus and can only be used once per long rest.
