Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate magic comes from spiritual magic of a Kitsune which has mingled with your soul.

Maybe your ancestor made a bargain with a powerful Kitsune, or maybe you have one as a parent.

Any given sorcerer could be the first of a new bloodline, as a result of a pact or some other exceptional circumstance.

Fox Spirit Magic

1st-level Fox Spirit feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Fox Spirit Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an enchantment or a necromancy spell from the Cleric, sorcerer, or wizard spell list.

Fox Magic Spells
Sorcerer Level    Spells

1st    disguise self, charm person
3rd    moonbeam, detect thoughts
5th    vampiric touch, hypnotic pattern
7th    polymorph, fire shield
9th    modify memory, seeming

Starting at lv1, you gain 1fox tail every 2 levels (you have 1 tail at level 1, 2 tails at level 3 etc..) up to 9 at level 17. These tail are beautiful and fluffy and dances around you as if they had a life of their own. You can hide your tails as a bonus action, but they always become visible if you use one of your sorcerer ability or cast a spell (unless you use the subtle spell metamagic). Each tails give you 1 additional sorcery point which you can only use on the subtle spell metamagic or to use Fox Fire.

At level 3, you gain the Subtle spell metamagic.

Fox Fire

1st-level Fox Spirit feature

At the cost of 1 sorcery point, you launch a ghostly ethereal flame toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 2d6+ your charisma modifier fire or cold damage (you chose).

The ability creates more than one flames when you reach higher levels: two flames at 5th level, three flames at 11th level, and four flames at 17th level. You can direct the flames at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each flame.

Fox Charm

6th-level Fox Spirit feature

You are immune to Charm

As a bonus action, you can give yourself advantage on your next deception or persuasion check.
You can do this a number of time equal to your charisma modifier and you regain all uses of this ability after a long rest.

In addition, when you are attacked by a creature you can see, you can use your reaction and spend 2 sorcery points to force your attacker to make a charisma saving throw against your spell saving throw DC. If it fails, he becomes charmed by you until the beginning of its next turn, and the attack fails to connect as the attacker wonder why he would attack such a beautiful creature.

Soul thief

14th-level Fox Spirit feature

You gain resistance to fire and frost damage

As an action, you can attempt to drain the soul of a creature you can see within 10 ft of you. If they fail a charisma saving throw against your spell saving throw DC, they gain one level of exhaustion and you regain up to 2 sorcery points and gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level. A creature charmed by you has disadvantage on its saving throw, and this ability does not break the charm on a failed save. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. You can also spend 3 sorcery point to use it again.

9 Tails Apotheosis

18th-level Fox Spirit feature

As a bonus action, you can draw upon the power of your nine tails, sheaving you in fox fire as you become like a blur to your enemies ,entering a state of Transcendance for 1 minute.

While you are in this Transcendant state:

  • Your movement speed is increased by 20ft and you do not provoke attack of opportunity while moving
  • You have resistance to all damage.
  • Immunity to fire and frost damage
  • Fox fire does not consume sorcery points and you have advantage on your attacks with that ability.

Once you use this power, you can only use it again after a long rest, or if you use 9 sorcery points to use it again (You can use your tail sorcery points to pay for that cost).
