Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your magical abilities grant you power over blood, granting you innate abilities through it.

Sanguine Mastery

Your souls influence of blood makes you a terror in battlefields and torture chambers alike. You gain resistance to necrotic damage.

Whenever you cast a spell that deals an elemental damage type you may take 1d6 necrotic damage that cannot be reduced in any way and replace that damage type with necrotic. (at later levels you may use a sorcery point in place of taking damage.) If this damage would reduce you to 0 hit points the spell fails.

At 3rd level if you damage yourself to convert a spell to necrotic you gain 1d4 hit points for every 10 points of damage the spell deals.

Bloody Rebuke

When dealt damage by an attack from a creature within 5ft of you that deals piercing or slashing damage. you may expend a sorcery point and use your reaction to deal 2d10 necrotic damage to the attacking creature and gain 2d4 hit points.

Blood armor

At 14th level your blood protects your body from attacks. For every 20 hit points you've lost your AC increases by 1.

Blood Possesion

at 18th level your soul and blood have truly begun one. You may use your action to reanimate a corpse that is at maximum one size larger than your own and possess it. Your regular body is considered dead until you return to it but is protected from reanimation from magic. You take on the stats of the creature except its mental statistics are replaced by your own, and you have your spell casting ability, but can only cast spells with components your new form allows. (note that you will not have your focus on you.) Once you take this action you may not do so again unless its to return to your original body until you finish a long rest.
