Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Headhunters specialize in using a specific axe design to inflict devastating and hard-to-treat wounds. All Headhunter Class Features require a Headhunter Axe.

Bloodbath

Starting at 3rd level, whenever you make a critical hit against a target, the target must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. On a fail, they start to bleed profusely. At the start of every round while the target is bleeding, they take 1d4 necrotic damage. This damage increases by 1d4 at 6th, 10th and 14th level. A healing spell ends this effect. At the end of their turn, they must make a Constitution saving throw, or continue bleeding.

If you cause a Large (or bigger) target to start bleeding, a 10-foot square centered on the target turns into difficult terrain at the end of each of its rounds, due to being caked in slippery blood. Each creature standing in its area must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. A creature that enters the area or ends its turn there must also succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone. The effect ends when the blood dries.

Devastating Injury

At 6th level, when you make a successful attack roll against a creature, they take an additional 1d6 necrotic damage and cannot regain hit points until the start of your next turn. The creature also has disadvantage on any following concentration checks.

Blood Infection

Upon reaching 10th level, other creatures become infected from the blood of your enemies. When you make a successful attack against a creature, a different creature that is within 5-feet of the original target and within range of your weapon takes 3d10 poison damage.

Brutalize

You focus your attention on one target, blocking out all other stimuli, to cause as much injury as possible. You can add 3d6 to your damage roll. If the attack brings the target down to 0 hit points, all enemies in a 60-foot that see the event must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier. If they fail the saving throw, they become frightened of you for 1 minute or until they take any damage. Attack rolls against the frightened creatures have advantage.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
