Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Not all rogues choose to stick to the shadows, some find themselves taking on the cause of chivalry and protection of the weak. Typically depicted on faithful steeds, donned in regal armor, the chevalier is a romantic figure of legend. This is the archetype of knights-errant who lend their sword to any in distress, rather than pledging fealty to a specific kingdom.

The chevalier is in it for the thrill of the fight, the call to glory, and the undying admiration of those who have had such a knight in shining armor come to their aid. A chevalier knows how to best defeat any enemy; embarrassment.

Knight-Errant

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with medium armor and shields.

Born to the Saddle

Starting at 3rd level, your experience in the jousting arena has granted you advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off mounts. If you fall off your mount and descend no more than 10 feet, you can land on your feet if you’re not incapacitated.

Finally, mounting or dismounting a creature costs you only 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.

Bravado

Beginning at 3rd level, whenever an attacking creature misses you with an attack, it provokes an opportunity attack from you.

Further, when you make an opportunity attack, you can use your Sneak Attack against that target even if you don't have advantage on the attack roll, but not if you have disadvantage on it, and you can use Sneak Attack with any weapon you hold in only one hand. All other rules of Sneak Attack still apply to you.

Mobile Arsenal

Starting at 9th level, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to draw or stow two weapons or shields as part of the same action.

Gallantry

At 13th level, the code of chivalry calls to you to be a stalwart protector of the weak. Whenever a creature within your reach targets another creature with an attack, it provokes an opportunity attack from you.

Additionally, when you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature, you can choose to provoke it. A provoked creature has disadvantage on attack rolls made against creatures other than you for the rest of the turn.

Vigilant Defender

Starting at 17th level, you can take up to two reactions per round, but only one per turn. This second reaction can only be used to make an opportunity attack.
