Inception is a tricky and chaotic thing. Some people are born more (or less) capable than others. A better build, a genetic mutation, etc. You are one of the lucky ones, a child gifted with the potential to truly see the universe and know your place in it. Many desire to be in your place, one of the few psions capable of honing their mind to enhance their natural abilities. You have been able to see the common thread connecting all things since your youth. You see how you are connected to this thread and how, through training and meditation, you can manipulate this cosmic magic both in yourself and the world around you.

The Mystic Soul has gone through rigorous discipline to harness their hidden potential and open the mind to magics unknown. Their mental fortitude gives them a pliability that other sorcerers seldom obtain.

Psychokinesis

You pull on the cosmic thread to hoist objects around at your will. At 1st level, you are granted the cantrip Mage Hand, which is made invisible and is able to carry 10 pounds more with each level in this class. This cantrip does not count against your number of sorcerer spells known.

Mental Barrier

Your enhanced spatial awareness grants you extra reaction time when faced with a lethal attack. At 1st level, as a bonus action you can exert a magical aura in a 30 ft radius stemming from you. For 1 minute, if an attacker successfully hits an attack against you within this aura, you can use your reaction to force them to reroll their attack roll. Keeping this aura up requires concentration and the aura will falter if you die, become incapacitated or break concentration.

Once you use this feature, you cant use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Augmentation

Your mental training has granted you increased control of your body, giving you temporary capability with whatever you are tasked with. Starting at 6th level, you can use sorcery points to give yourself advantage on ability saves, ability checks and skill checks once per turn. Ability saves and checks cost 3 points while a skill check costs 2 points. However, if you are proficient with a skill, you can grant yourself temporary Expertise by using 4 sorcery points instead of 2.

If you already have Expertise with a skill, it does not stack and no further sorcery points will be used. If you arent proficient in a skill, you can grant yourself temporary proficiency by spending 4 sorcery points instead of 2. 

Psychic Awakening

Your strengthened connection to psionics has allowed you to defy the limitations of your physical body. At 14th level, you gain the ability to speak to another person telepathically. You can converse telepathically to a creature you can see within 60 ft of you. You don’t need to share a language with the creature for it to understand your telepathic messages, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language or be telepathic itself. If you already have telepathy, the range is doubled.

You are also now capable of flight, gaining a flight speed of 30 ft. In addition, you no longer need to use material components to cast a spell, letting the psionic energy simulate the needed ingredients. However, you still need material components if they are consumable or worth a certain amount of gold.

Psionic Overflow

The mental training you have gone through has honed your mind past peak performance. Starting at 18th level, you can now concentrate on 2 spells at once. If you break concentration, the effects of both spells end.

Additionally, you can now completely open yourself up to psionic energy, becoming host to the cosmic magic. As an action, you can flood your body with psionic magic and grant yourself a doubled flight speed; charisma bonus added to all spell damage rolls; resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage; and immunity to psychic damage. This form requires concentration and lasts for 1 minute unless you die, become incapacitated, or break concentration.

Once you use this feature, you cant use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
