Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Erudites devotes the paladins to a constant search for knowledge, to improve their gifts for magic and their strength in battle. Those who take the Oath are expected to venerate knowledge, put it to use to help the people, and share it with them. They combat evil magic users wherever possible, seeking them out and neutralizing them, using their own knowledge against them, and liberate people from the oppresing fist of ignorance.
Paladins who take this Oath can learn from the wizard's spell list.
Tenets of the Erudites
Courage and Wisdom. Never fear to act, but be sure take in all the facts before administering Divine justice swiftly and without mercy.
Magic is Sacred: Magic is from the Gods, and is a tribute to the Gods - since every spell is a prayer, they should only be dedicated to good deeds. To use magic irresponsibly is sinful.
Compassion for the People. Aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten and oppress them.
Honor. Treat others with fairness, and let your honorable deeds be an example to them. Do as much good as possible while causing the least amount of harm.
Seek and Protect All Knowledge: All knowledge is holy, all knowledge should be seeked, all knowledge should be available, all knowledge should be protected.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Divine Perception: As a bonus action, select one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. You immediately learn each of the following facts about the creature: one damage immunity, one damage resistance, one damage weakness, and choose to either know the creature's weakest saving throw or the creature's strongest saving throw.
Knowledge from the Gods: As an action, you can use your Channel Divinity to tap into a divine well of knowledge. Choose one skill or tool. For 10 minutes, you have proficiency with the chosen skill or tool.

Iluminated Warrior
You gain proficiency in another skill of your choice from the list of skills available to Paladins at 1st level. In addition, when you activate Channel Divinity, you can channel power of your God when you attempt certain tasks; whenever you make an ability check using one of the following skills, you can make it as a Charisma check even if it normally uses a different ability: Arcana, History, Investigation, Medicine, or Perception,. When you use this ability, your Charisma represents Divine Knowledge, coming to you from the pure strength of you faith.
Aura of Reasoning
Beginning at 7th level, you emanate an aura of pure knowledge and logic that boosts the brain power of anyone surrounding you. You or a friendly creature within 10ft have Advantage on Ability checks and Saving throws for both Intelligence and Wisdom.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30ft.
Expert Strike
At level 15 you can turn defense into a sudden strike. When you or another creature you can see within 10 feet of you is hit by an attack roll, you can use your reaction to grant a bonus to the target's AC against that attack, potentially causing it to miss. The bonus equals your Wisdom modifier (minimum of +1). If the attack misses, you can make one weapon attack against the attacker as part of this reaction, provided the attacker is within your weapon's range.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Paragon of Knowledge
At 20th level, you become momentarily iluminated with endless knowledge and wisdom, taking on an appearance of your choice that reflects infinite intelligence and raw arcane power. For example, you could be surrounded by glowing mantles of pure magic, you speak in unison with a multitude of voices, or your eyes reflect the never-ending vastness of the multiverse.
Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For one minute, you gain the following benefits:
• You have Advantage on all ability checks made as part of a spell or your Channel Divinity.
• You treat all of your spell slots as if they were one level higher; for example, a spell cast out of a 3rd level spell slot would benefit as if it were cast out of a 4th level spell slot.
• You treat all spell attacks as if they were melee weapon attacks for the purposes of Divine Smite and Improved Divine Smite.
Once you have used this transformation, you cannot do so again until you have completed a long rest.
