Base Class: Bard
The passions of a bard are unmatched, giving everything into their art. Many say they are a jack of all trades and a master of none, but these bards are masters of their craft. Able to move people to tears and then have them rolling on the floor laughing within seconds. True masters of both Comedy and Tragedy.
Two Faced
At 3rd level, you are a master at playing the part. When you make a Charisma (Performance) or Charisma (Deception) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Dual Performance
At 3rd level, you are able weave your emotions into your magic and skills. After you finish a long rest choose an act Comedy or Tragedy, as a bonus action, you can switch your act. You gain following based on your act.
- Comedy act- As a reaction, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration, choose one or more creatures within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature) to give advantage on saving throws until the end of this turn.
- Tragedy act- As a reaction, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration, choose one or more creatures within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one creature) to give disadvantage on saving throws until the end of this turn.
Dramatic Act
At 6th level, you can charge your spells with your performance, giving an extra flare to them. You gain following based on your act.
- Comedy act- When you cast a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, double its duration, to a maximum duration of 24 hours.
- Tragedy act- When you cast a spell, cast it without any somatic or verbal components.
Fulfilled Passion
At 14th level, your finishing act is complete, and your words and acting prowess is flawless. As an action, make a Charisma (Performance) check and choose one creature within 30 feet of you. The following happen based on your act.
- Comedy act- The target regains a number of hit points equal to the result of your check, and until your next turn whenever the target makes an attack roll or a saving throw, the target can roll a d8 and add the number rolled to the attack roll or saving throw.
- Tragedy act- The target is dealt damage equal to the result of your check, and until your next turn whenever the target makes an attack roll or a saving throw, you can roll a d8 and subtracts the number rolled to the attack roll or saving throw.
