College of Gospel

A bard who sings songs of devotion and praise to the beings of the celestial realms. They may travel abroad to help the sick, infirm, downtrodden, and spread the word of their god or goddess. 

Scriptured Heart

3rd-level College of Gospel feature

You know how to perform the words of your faith for they are inscribed upon your heart. You gain proficiency in (Religion) and (Performance) if you don't already have it. You also have advantage on checks to recall information about deities and religion. You may use a holy symbol as a spellcasting focus.

Sacred Songs

3rd-level College of Gospel feature

You feel the sacred songs of your god well up in your heart. You can expend a bardic inspiration die to channel them. 

Sacred Hymn. When casting a healing spell or using the Song of Rest feature, you add the number rolled on the bardic inspiration die to the total.

Psalm of Power. When casting a damage spell, you add the number rolled on the bardic inspiration die to the total, this may be fire, radiant, or the damage type of the spell that is being cast. 

Divine Gospel. When an ally within 60 ft makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, you can use your reaction adding the number rolled on your bardic inspiration to their roll.

Mantle of Divine Spirit

6th-level College of Gospel feature

At 6th level, you gain the ability to cloak yourself in a divine magic that reaches out to protect those around you. As a bonus action, you cast Shield of Faith, without expending a spell slot, and you take on an appearance of unearthly beauty for 10 minutes or until your concentration ends. During this time, you can cast Shield of Faith as a bonus action on each of your turns, on a new target, without expending a spell slot or breaking your concentration on the previous targets of this spell. When your concentration ends the spell ends on all targets.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Infectious Grace

14th-level College of Gospel feature

Your appearance becomes more ethereal and radiant as your connection to the divine power you serve strengthens.  

• You may now add your charisma modifier to your sacred songs. 
• You have advantage on Wisdom saving throws.
• You learn the cantrip Spare the Dying.
