Base Class: Bard
Bards in this college fuel their performances using a deck of tarot cards taken from the dark lands of Ravenloft. They twist and manipulate the dark energies present and swirling within the deck itself. The more the deck is used, the more corrupted the bards become who use said deck.

As an Action you can pull a card from the deck at random and dependent on the card that's drawn, the effect described in the list below comes into effect.

At 14th level, the power of the tarokka deck has been fully gifted to you and latched onto your soul. Using an action, you can close your eyes and take on the whispers of the dark energies that influence and the deck itself. When you use this feature you take 9 (2d8) psychic damage but can see the tide of time and into the past, present and future that swirls around you. As the tides of time swirl within your mind, you can negate one event that has transpired in the last 24 hours.
If this damage reduces you to 0 hit points, your soul is pulled into the deck and deposited into a random plane of the Dungeon Master's choosing.
You can use this feature once per day.
You may also now use your Tarokka Deck to draw a card as a Bonus Action instead of an action.

Posted Mar 30, 2021This is a marvelously written class, and I love the descriptions of all the cards art. However I don't know why anyone who doesn't have a death wish for themselves and their party use this. Everything targeted being totally random seems like a massive risk. Especially if your party outnumbers the enemies you're fighting. If there was a higher level class feature that let you influence the targets of card effects even partially, I think this would be much more viable.
