Base Class: Warlock

State-of the art Zouch technology has made you into a competent, hard to catch con man. You are able to alter your appearance in a variety of ways as well as use mind-altering neurological technologies, making you excel at adopting different personas in social situations and staying undercover. When required, you are also a capable combatant although you prefer to slip away unnoticed if possible. However, these capabilities come at a steep cost. You are forced to spend much of your earnings on the "rental" of your cybernetic modifications, which cannot be removed.

Expanded Spell List

Your high-grade cybernetic enhancements allow you to add these spells to the warlock spell list. 

1st level: Command, Fog Cloud

2nd level: Calm Emotions, Detect Thoughts

3rd level: Clairvoyance, Sending

4th level: Greater Invisibility, Locate Creature (can only be used in urban environments)

5th level: Mislead, Seeming

Communication Network

At first level, gain access to the Message and Vicious Mockery cantrips. They are always prepared. When you cast the Message cantrip, your target may respond with a brief phrase consisting of 5 or less words.

Collect Call

At 6th level, you may use an action to make a call to your patrons at Zouch headquarters and ask them for assistance in times of need. The nature of your relationship with Zouch makes this a somewhat complicated task. Roll a percentile die. If you roll a number equal to or lower than your Warlock level, you successfully ask them for a favor. Top-level developers give you access to the latest experimental software that allows you to greatly exceed your normal capabilities for a brief moment. Assistance can come in several forms:

  1. You may receive a +10 bonus to your next ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. (For this option, you may choose to use this feature after you see an initial role but not after knowing whether it succeeded or failed)
  2. Gain the ability to cast any fifth level or lower spell for the next minute (At DM's discretion :P)
  3. Cause the security system of a building that you are in to malfunction, either preventing it from detecting you for the next 10 minutes, or raising an alarm and causing a commotion.

If your request for assistance is successful, you may not use this feature again for the next 7 days.

At level 20, your request for assistance always succeeds

Conniving Performer

At 10th level, you gain the ability to quickly assume the appearance and persona of humanoid entities. When a person that you have been around for at least a few minutes dies within 30 feet of you, you may use your reaction when standing within a 5 foot range to perform a rapid analysis of their physical characteristics and recall their mannerisms from recordings taken with your on-board cameras. You also gain access to basic information about this person (or detailed information, depending on who it is) from intergalactic census databases. You retain this impression of the humanoid until you use it or finish a long rest. 

As an action, you may use the impression you've captured to assume the appearance and mannerisms of this person. For the next hour, or when you end this effect with a bonus action, you are able to pass convincingly as this person even to close acquaintances. However, those who knew this person well are able to see through your disguise with an Insight check contested by your Deception +5.

Astonishing Discovery

At 14th level, your constant interaction with Zouch software allows you access its source code and study its inner workings closely. Whenever you take a short or long rest, you may choose to attempt a DC 30 flat Intelligence check. You may receive help from your party or bonuses from any other source to help achieve this. If you succeed, you learn a well-kept secret about Zouch Ltd. that will change everything.....
