Base Class: Wizard

The High Elves of Kol'Mund take great pride in two things; their engineering skill, and their power over the arcane. Arcane Gunmen combine these two aspects together, weaving their skill with the gun alongside the strength of the arcane. As time wore on, and guns became more common throughout the land, many wizards found their techniques and began to use them. The militaristic Gnomes of Gnomlund, who too enjoy engineering and the arcane, became especially interested in the applications of the Arcane Gunmen.

Arcane Firemaster

When you adopt this tradition at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with all firearms.

In addition, you gain a pool of Arcane Grit. This pool has a number of Grit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + 1/2 your Wizard Level. This pool refills after a long rest.

When you strike an enemy with an attack from your firearm, you may cast an Evocation, Enchantment, or Necromancy spell with a casting time of 1 action as a bonus action, with the hit creature as a target within the spell. This requires you to spend a number of Grit points equal to the spell's level + 1. Any spell you cast with an area of effect has the hit creature as the center of the area. For example, if you were to cast Burning Hands, you would need to spend 2 Grit points, and the hit enemy would be at the center of the cone, and would receive a DEX save and take fire damage as normal.

Arcane Deadeye

Starting at 6th level, whenever you make an attack action with a ranged weapon, you may add your intelligence modifier to the attack in addition to your dexterity modifier.

Magical Blaster

Beginning at 10th level, whenever you use your Arcane Firemaster feature to cast a Cantrip spell as a bonus action, you do not need to expend any Arcane Grit.

Grit Recovery

Starting at 14th level, you may, as an action, expend a spell slot to gain a number of Arcane Grit points equal to the expended slot's level, and as you focus you may cast True Strike on yourself, even if you do not have the spell prepared. When True Strike is cast this way, it does not require concentration.
