Base Class: Monk
Through intense training and meditation, Monks of Willpower have trained to use the power within as a catalyst for certain ki abilities. Such catalysts create effects separated into three distinct categories: The Color of Survey, The Color of Armament, and The Color of Supremacy.
The Color of Survey
Beginning at level 3, you can no longer be surprised in combat. Additionally, you can spend 1 ki point to gain advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks made to discover a creature's weaknesses. When you are targeted by an attack, you can spend 2 ki points as a reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
The Color of Defensive Armament
Starting at level 6, you become able to channel your willpower and to defend yourself. As a reaction, you can spend 2 ki points to halve the damage of an incoming attack.
The Color of Offensive Armament
Starting at level 11, your unarmed strikes deal an additional amount of force damage equal to half of your wisdom modifier.
At level 17, this bonus becomes equal to your full wisdom modifier.
The Color of the Conqueror
At level 17, you can use your willpower to intimidate large groups of enemies. You become proficient with the Intimidation skill. If you are already proficient, you can add twice your proficiency modifier.
You can also spend 8 ki points as an action to attempt to frighten or incapacitate any number of creatures within 120 feet of you. Creatures affected by this must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Ki save DC or be frightened of you for 1 minute. At the end of each of their turns, a frightened creature must make another wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they become incapacitated as well. At the end of each of their turns, an incapacitated and frightened creature must repeat the saving throw. On a failure, the creature is no longer frightened, but falls unconscious.
A success on any saving throw due to this ability ends the effect on the creature.
