Base Class: Barbarian
Those who walk the Path Of The Earthshaker are heard and felt before they are seen. Those who's barbaric nature has been long supressed find themselves struggling to contain their fury and lust for battle. Earthshakers are those who exert their rage upon the very earth through fearsome and primal expression. Gripping and crushing, stomping and slamming; Earthshakers have no need for technique. Theirs is a combative style condusive of one's basest of instincts.
Earthshakers are a force of the violent urges inherent to sapience; with fists that can shake the very stones beneath their feet, Footsteps which make mountains tremble, and harrowing roars of infectious bloodlust.
Shattering Grip
The path of the Earthshaker is one tred without weapons. Thus do earthshakers truly indulge in the most primal of battles.
Your unarmed attacks become empowered, dealing 1d8 plus your Strength Modifier as Bludgeining Damage
Grappling an opponent comes easy with your intensified grip, giving Advantage on grapple checks
When an enemy finds themselves grappled by you, your intense grip allows you to deal 1d4 + Current Level Crushing Damage at the start of your turn
Those who have found themselves within the grip of an earthshaker do not often live to tell the tale. Those tales told though attest to the chilling sounds of snapping bones, and final breaths being forcibly squeezed from one's chest.
Brutal Stomp
One's rage is often best expressed through actions a fact instinctively known by most sapient races, even from childhood. Much belike a child stomping their foot when throwing a tantrum, Earthshakers are known to make the very earth tremble with their impatient stomps of rage.
Using a bonus action, Stomp the ground before you in a 20ft cone. creatures within this cone must make a Dex save of DC 10 + Proficiency mod + Constitution Modifier or have disadvantage on all Athletics & Acrobatics checks until the ending of your next turn. No such effects will be taken on a successful save.(if the target normally has advantage on these checks, this attack nulifies the advantage but will not give disadvantage)
In addition, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to your Strength modifier plus your Proficiency Bonus on a failed save. on a successful save, they will take half.
This ability is likely where the Earthshakers got their name, as the ground quakes beneath the force of their rage.
Braggarts Roar
A fearsome yell is the simplest and most effective expression, often to grab the attention of all who might hear it. Earthshakers let loose the most ferocious cries, their lust for battle undeniable. This urge reverberates through the air, speaking to the bloodlust of all who might fight against the Earthshaker.
Let all your Battle lust out in one Belowing cry for blood. Enemies who Fail a DC 10 + Proficiency Bonus + Constitution Modifier Wisdom save will find themselves ennamered with bloodlust, compelled by primal instinct to attack you.
This effect lasts until the end of your turn, and during that time you gain AC Bonus equal to your Constitution Modifier
This effect will end if you fall unconscious.
Violence is inherent to all races capable of making the decision to commit it. So it is that those already engaged in such acts are fit to fall prey to its maddening call.
Fury of the Mountains
Such primal forms of combat like that of the Earthshaker are much the rarity these days. Combat without weapons, and with only hands and fists is not as martial and practiced as a monk might have you believe. Indeed, broken bones and bloodied corpses are often left in the wake of primal combat. So it is that brutality is the way of the Earthshaker.
Now when making an unarmed strike against a target you have grappled or restrained you may add your Constitution Modifier and Proficiency Bonus to the damage.
Let the earth shake. Not just with your steps, nor simply with your rage. Let it shake with fear from your brutality.
