Base Class: Monk
A Monk who follows the Way of Light is of the same faith as the Clerics of the Light domain, but is not ordained and only has limited access to their power. By using your own 'Inner Fire' (Ki) you can tap into some of the abilities of the Light Domain. The first thing you learn is to cast the Light cantrip at will (costing no Ki points), projecting bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet from any part of your body, such as your open palm, or on any weapon or piece of equipment in your hand. Then you will learn to use your 'Inner Fire' to perform a variety of miracles...
Healing Touch
At 3rd Level, you can concentrate your 'Inner Fire' into your hands, making them glow with a gentle golden light that can miraculously heal wounds. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to touch a creature and restore a number of hit points equal to a roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier.
Flaming Fist
At 3rd Level, you can concentrate your 'Inner Fire' into your clenched fist, making it erupt into mystical flames. When you hit a creature with this unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra fire damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier. You can use this feature only once per turn.
Purifying Light
Starting at 6th level, when you use Healing Touch on a creature, you can also end one disease or one of the following conditions affecting the creature: blinded, deafened, paralyzed, poisoned, or stunned. Any parasites within the creature's body will be destroyed by the white light that shines from your hands.
Blinding Strike
Starting at 6th Level, you can concentrate your 'Inner Fire' into your open palm, making it glow with a brilliant white light. When you hit a creature with this unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra radiant damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw or be subject to the blinded condition until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature only once per turn.
Monk's Smite
Starting at 11th level, you can now extend your 'Inner Fire' through a weapon you are proficient in, causing it to glow with Holy Light. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon atttack, you can expend 2 ki points to deal 2d8 radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. You can spend additional Ki points for additional damage. Add 1d8 for each Ki point spent to a maximum of 5d8.
Touch of the Saint
By 17th level, the mastery of your 'Inner Fire' allows you to revivify the newly dead, by placing both hands on the body and imbuing it with healing light. As an action, you can touch the corpse of a creature that died within the past 24 hours and expend 5 ki points. The creature then returns to life, regaining a number of hit points equal to 4d10 + your Wisdom modifier. If the creature died while subject to any of the following conditions, it revives with them removed: blinded, deafened, paralyzed, poisoned, and stunned. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
