Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A Master of Quick Actions and Spell Casting, a Servant is capable of doing a great amount of things for the sake of those around them. Heavily devoted to completing their Tasks, Servants are not to be disregarded so easily. Their prowess with their Weapons and Spellcasting Abilities are known to be ruthless in the face of their Duties. The same can be said in the face of their enemies. On the field of battle, they are Deadly as they are Supportive, at the ready to become resourceful to their Allies.

Origins

Long Ago, in a far off Manor, there lived an Organization of Servants that resided in service to a Noble Family. Upon the ruin of their previous home, the Organization would prepare for physical conflict by Training with Weaponry. When they had all but mastered the course, they pursued even more abilities to defend their Employers. The Organization would find themselves learning Magical Arts from a Church of Clerics, who at their behest, gave them the secrets of Magic. Remarkably, instead of relying on a deity to cast these Spells, those found in the Organization would solely rely on a Devotion, needing only the Instructions to replicate a Cleric's Spell.

Now, presently, these Arts can be found Far and Wide in the world. Having been recorded in a mass of Historical Books, any Individual can follow in the same Teachings that past Servants had affiliated themselves with for years. Though, commonly, the Art is Taught to newly employed Servants that pursue much more than their typical duties.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the Cleric spell list.

Cantrips

You learn three cantrips of your Choice from the Cleric Spell List. You learn another Cleric cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots

The Servant Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your wizard spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

For example, if you know the 1st-level spell charm person and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast charm person using either slot.

Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher

You know three 1st-level Cleric spells of your choice.

The Spells Known column of the Servant Spellcasting table shows when you learn more Cleric spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the Cleric spells you know with another spell of your choice from the Cleric spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Spellcasting Ability

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your Cleric spells, since you learn your spells through sheer Devotion. You use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a Cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Live To Serve

Starting at 3rd level, you can use the Help action as a bonus action. Additionally, when you use the Help action to aid an ally in attacking a creature, the target of that attack can be within 30 feet of you, rather than within 5 feet of you, if the target can see or hear you. Additionally, when you Heal an Ally with a Spell, you Heal for Half the Amount Given (Taking the Lowest Value).

Servitude

At 9th level, your Servitude has allowed for you to follow through in accordance to an Ally's Action. When you use the Help Action on a Ally and they Hit their Target, you may use a Reaction to make a Weapon Attack to the same Target.

Gratitude

At 13th level, you no longer receive Half Healing from Live To Serve, you instead receive Full Healing. Additionally, you gain the Tidy Up Feature, whenever you Cast a Healing Spell, it Heals Maximally to a Target. This Feature is Regained after a Long Rest.

Eternal Spells

At 17th Level, Instead of using a Weapon Attack when Servitude is activated, you may choose to use a Spell on the Target or an Ally. Additionally, you are given a choice between Eternal Servitude or Eternal Gratitude.

Eternal Gratitude allows you to cast Mass Cure Wounds at 5th Level once per Long Rest.

Eternal Servitude allows you to cast Flame Strike at 5th Level once per Long Rest.

Eternal Gratitude

You have developed an Eternal Gratitude, you are able to cast Mass Cure Wounds at 5th level once per Long Rest.
