Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Remedies spend their time and knowledge focusing on healing and preserving others. While some bards work well as healers or medics, these bards keep their focus on the healing arts.

Rhythm of Remedy

At 3rd level, your performance is enhanced with healing and restorative magic.

You learn the Healing Word spell if you don't know it already - this spell does not count against the number of spells you know. Moreover, you can use your Bardic Inspiration to bolster the healing your spells. Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher to restore hit points to a creature, you can choose to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to gain a bonus to the healing roll of the spell equal to the number rolled on your Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma Modifier (minimum of 1).

Well Rested

Also at 3rd level, your remedial presence rats your companions the well rest they deserve.

Any creature who benefited from your Song of Rest feature can add the number you rolled for the additional healing from that feature to the next Constitution saving throw they make before they finish a long rest. A creature can receive this benefit once, and must finish a long rest before being able to receive this benefit again.

Melodious Medic

At 6th level, you have gained the ability to heal the sick and wounded through music or inspiration.

Whenever you make a Wisdom (Medicine) check, you gain a bonus to the check equal to your Charisma modifier.

Presence of Mind

Also at 6th level, you can expand your awareness to those that would do harm. The range of your Countercharm feature increases by 30 ft.

As a reaction when a creature you can see within 60 ft. of you is forced to make a saving throw against being Frightened or Charmed, you can give that creature advantage on their saving throw.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Therapeutic Emboldening

At 14th level, your healing words come with an added benefit.

Whenever you use your Rhythm of Remedy feature, any creature that benefited from that feature also gains one of your Bardic Inspiration dice, which lasts for 8 hours. If there are multiple creatures that benefited from that feature, you can choose a number of them equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1 creature) to benefit from it.

You can use this feature once before you must finish a long rest. Beginning at 18th level, you can use this feature twice between long rests.
