Base Class: Fighter
Biting. The last defense of women and children. Yet these practitioners turned it into a vicious fighting art. Some "fighters" train in styles to defend others. Some train to frighten their enemies. Some even train for fame and glory. Practitioners of Goudou though... They train to be the best of the best in hand-to-hand combat. Rivaling the strongest "Monks" and other combatants who take pride in their limbs.
Masseter Training
Whether through intense training, exceptional genetics, or drug abuse, you have strengthened your masseter muscles far beyond what an omnivore should be physically capable of. Let your enemies tremble before the might of your clamp.
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your ceaseless training to strengthen your jaw and teeth pays off. You gain a bite attack that can deal 1d6 damage per hit and has a range equal to your character's height. This attack uses your Strength modifier plus proficiency. You may only bite up to half the amount of attacks you make per turn. (Rounded down)
The damage to your bites increases to 1d8 at 7th level, 1d10 at 10th level, 1d12 at 15th level, and 2d6 at 18th level.
Titanium Teeth
Through bone conditioning, dental surgery, or other-worldly genetics, your teeth have adapted to biting through armor and solid objects.
Starting at 7th level, your bite force begins to rival the strength and compressive power of fearsome animals such as bears and gorillas. When grappling a creature, or being subjected to the grappled condition yourself, you may deal 1d4 damage to the enemy twice per round. Once on your turn, and once on theirs. If you already have this feature from the unarmed fighting style, then you no longer benefit from it, but can now deal 2d4 damage instead.
Once you reach level 15, your biting power can instead deal 2d6 damage, granting you the ability to bite through even adamantine, bypassing piercing resistance, and turning immunity to piercing into resistance.
Perfected Technique
Goudou practitioners are still striking specialists at heart. Behind their biting prowess is an arsenal of endless techniques waiting to be unleashed at the right moment.
At 10th level, your martial training allows you to complement your biting strength. You can now use your bonus action and attack with two unarmed strikes. This can only be used a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You may also strike or bite as a bonus action, and add your proficiency modifier to those attacks.
X-Ray Vision
Your physiological knowledge of other creatures' vital points improves your sight to the point that you're able to see countless major and minor blood vessels, similar to x-ray vision. You may see all creatures as nothing more than dense clumps of vital points. Allowing you to bite and tear off opponents' body parts in moments before they know it. Causing blood loss.
Starting at 15th level, every time a creature is subjected to your bite, they must make a constitution save equal to 10 or half the damage you deal, choosing what's higher. Upon failing this save, the creature gains one point of exhaustion due to the blood loss. If the creature is immune to exhaustion, you instead deal damage equal to your fighter level.
Goudou Master
At 18th level, you attain the pinnacle of Goudou mastery. Interweaving your bites, strikes, and grapples into one fluid motion. A harmony of attacks that are nigh impossible to interrupt.
On your turn, you can forego your reaction for the following round. During this time, any creatures that attack you with melee weapons or strikes take damage equal to your bite attack as you snap at them simultaneously. They must be within your reach for this to happen.
At 20th level, your restriction on the number of bites you are allowed to make per turn is lifted. Allowing you to bite and strike simultaneously at the cost of halving the number of attacks you make for that turn.
