Base Class: Sorcerer
While traveling through ancient ruins, you discovered a slab with carvings referring to a lost kingdom called Runeterra. The magics within became infused with the untapped sorcery potential in your blood, unlocking new powers that you are still exploring.
The Adventure Begins
Starting from 1st level, you know the Runeterran Bolt spell. Once per encounter, you may cast a 1st level version of this spell as a bonus action without expending a spell slot.
Whenever you enter a new area, your proficiency bonus is doubled for Wisdom (Perception) checks made to gather information about your surroundings.
Distant Travels
Starting from 6th level, you know the Blink spell if your haven't already learned it. When returning from the Ethereal Plane, you may cast Runeterran Bolt as a minor action.
Through the Ethereal Plane, you have had visions of different runes and languages. Your proficiency bonus is doubled when attempting to translate from a language you do not speak. You may also attempt to communicate in any language you have heard but cannot speak. You can only communicate simple messages in this way. You learn languages twice as fast.
Stunning Discovery
Starting from 6th level, when you deal Lightning damage, your targets become Stunned (save ends, DC 10 + CHA). Gain resistance to Lightning, equal to your character level plus your Charisma modifier.
You can create an arc of lightning between any two points on your body, granting dim light for up to 20 feet away. At level 11, this becomes bright light for 20 feet and dim light for another 20 feet. At 16th level, you may create an arc between you and any piece of metal up to 10 feet away, granting bright light for 20 feet and dim light for another 20 feet.
Electric Sensation
Starting from 14th level, when you critically strike with Runeterran Bolt, the lightning causes an electrical discharge, dealing half damage to all enemies within 5ft of the target. Runeterran Bolt crits on a 19 or a 20. On a crit, you may spend 1 sorcery point to cast a second Runeterran Bolt.
The electrical discharges in the air are more apparent to you. You can sense all magnets and metal objects within 100 feet of you. If an incoming attack deals primarily Lightning damage and you can roll to avoid it, you may do so with advantage.
Deathly Dance
If you kill an enemy with Runeterran Bolt, you may teleport to that location. Teleporting in this way counts as returning from the Ethereal Realm for the Distant Travels effect.
Once per long rest, you may conjure a bolt of lightning and travel in it for up to one mile. When you depart and arrive, all creatures in a 5 foot radius of your position take 10d8 Lightning damage. The travel time is instant.
