Bard
Base Class: Bard

Love is a powerful thing, and none know this better than the bards of the College of Romance. Paramours, seductors, and silver-tongued devils, these bards have turned the art of wooing someone into a science, which they ply to their advantage with mechanical efficiency. Given the option, these bards would rather make love than war, knowing full well that an enemy turned ally is twice as effective as an enemy slain.

Cupid's Arrow

Also at 3rd level, you can sway other creatures through your personality. As an action, expend one use of Bardic Inspiration and choose one creature you can see within 30 feet which can see or hear you to make an Insight check contested by your Persuasion or Deception check. If the target fail, it is charmed by you for a number of rounds equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die. This effect ends early if you move more than 30 feet away from the creature, they can neither see nor hear you, they take damage from you or your allies, or you use this ability again.

Additionally, you gain proficiency in either Persuasion or Deception. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses your chosen proficiency.

Likeable

At level 3, you hone your ability to use your magnetic personality to discourage aggression against you or your allies. You can use your bonus action to distract a hostile creature that is currently charmed by you. On its turn, the charmed creature has disadvantage on attack rolls and can't move further away from you unless it first takes the Disengage action. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.

Additionally, any creature charmed by you regards you and your allies as friendly acquaintances.

Enemy of my Enemy

At 6th level, when you take the Attack action, you can direct a creature you have charmed to make one weapon attack (no action required by you). That creature must be able to see or hear you and it immediately uses its reaction to make the attack. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest.

Infatuate

Starting at 14th level, you can make yourself the object of another creature's affections. You can use your action to touch or sing to a humanoid that is currently restrained, grappled, incapacitated, or paralysed. That creature is then charmed by you until the effect is dispelled. This charm effect lasts until you dismiss it or until you use this feature to charm another creature. The effect can be dispelled with dispel magic or remove curse, and is treated as a spell with a level equal to half your Bard level (maximum 9th level). Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
