A psionic master of the Self.
Psionic Ki
You harbor a wellspring of psionic energy within yourself. This energy is represented by your Psionic Energy dice, which are each a d6. You have a number of these dice equal to twice your proficiency bonus, and they fuel various psionic powers you have, which are detailed below.
Some of your powers expend the Psionic Energy die they use, as specified in a power’s description, and you can’t use a power if it requires you to use a die when your dice are all expended. You regain all your expended Psionic Energy dice when you finish a long rest. In addition, as a bonus action, you can regain one expended Psionic Energy die, but you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
When you reach certain levels in this class, the size of your Psionic Energy dice increases: at 5th level (d8), 11th level (d10), and 17th level (d12). The powers below use your Psionic Energy dice.
Psychic Steps. You can hasten your movement with psionic energy. You can expend a Psionic Energy die (no action required), roll the die, and increase your movement speed by an amount equal to 5 times the number rolled. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest, unless you spend a Ki point to use it again.
Psionic Flurry. After you spend a Ki point to use your Flurry of Blows feature, you may expend a Psionic Energy die to make an additional unarmed strike as part of the same bonus action. The attack deals additional force damage equal to a roll of the die plus your Intelligence modifier.
Autohypnosis
At 6th level, you gain additional mastery of your Self, granting you new ways to use your psionic power.
Fortified Self. When you are targeted with an attack, you may use your reaction to expend a Psionic Energy die and increase your AC by an amount equal to your Intelligence modifier until the end of the current turn. Once you take this reaction, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest, unless you spend a Ki point to take it again.
Metaphysical Health. The first time you are reduced to 0 hit points, you may expand a Psionic Energy die, roll it and regain a number of hit points equal to the number rolled plus your Intelligence modifier. You may only use this feature once, and can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Psicrystal
By 11th level, you have learned to separate parts of your personality from your Self. You create a psicrystal, manifesting the fragment of your personality into it. At the end of a long rest, choose a skill you are proficient in. You can speak a command word (no action required) to cause the psicrystal to float around you, or to stop floating. While floating in this way, the psicrystal grants you expertise in the chosen skill.
Psychomorphosis
At 17th level, you have mastered your Self.
As an action, you can expend a Psionic Energy die and increase one of your ability scores of your choice by an amount equal to your Intelligence modifier for 10 minutes. Your maximum for the score is increased by the same amount. Only one ability score can be increased this way at a time. Once you take this action, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a Psionic Energy die to take it again.
