Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who walk the Path of the Crocodile draw their rage from the depths of Shurima. Such a barbarian might be inhabited by a primal spirit or had strange experiments done to them.

Reign of Anger

3rd-level Path of Crocodile feature

You are a crocodile person, granting you certain powers.

Fury Dice: You can retain an amount of Fury Dice equal to your proficiency bonus, which are d6s. You can gain a Fury Die once per turn by damaging an enemy with an attack roll. These dice are expended when using them on the abilities below. You cannot gain a Fury Die and use an ability in the same turn (except Critical hits). A critical hit restores two Fury Dice, these can be expended on the same turn. All Fury Dice expire after a long rest. These dice are increased to a d8 at level 5, a d10 at level 10, and a d12 at level 15.

Saving Throw: If the effect requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier.

Champion Spotlight

3rd-level Path of Crocodile feature

While raging, you can spend Fury dice on the abilities below. You cannot use the same ability more than once per turn.

Cull the Meek: When you take the Attack action, you can replace one attack with this ability. You spin your weapon causing each creature in a 5ft radius to make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes one Fury Die + half your barbarian level of slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. You regain health equal to the amount of damage dealt.

Ruthless Predator: When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack you can add two Fury Die to the damage roll and the creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

Slice n Dice: As a bonus action, you can move 10ft which does not provoke opportunity attacks. During this movement, if you pass within 5ft of a creature you can repeat this action once. Any creature that is within 5 ft of you during this movement must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes one Fury Die of slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. This can be used in the same bonus action as Rage.

Pool Party

3rd-level Path of the Crocodile Feature

You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and you can breathe underwater.

Lifeguard

6th-level Path of the Crocodile Feature

You have gained experience through endless vigilance of those who would break the rules. You gain the following benefit:

Once per short rest, you can roll a Fury die and add the number rolled to a Perception(Wisdom) or Intimidation(Charisma) check.

Built Different

6th-level Path of the Crocodile Feature

Your endless rage can manifest into power based on the path you choose. You can activate one of these features once per long rest (no action required).

Mercury's Treads: For one minute, your movement is unaffected by difficult terrain, and spells and other magical effects can neither reduce your speed nor cause you to be paralyzed or restrained.

Goredrinker: The damage on your next Cull the Meek is doubled.

Frozen Mallet: For one minute, each time you damage a creature with a weapon attack or ability, their speed is reduced by 20 feet until the end of their next turn.

Infinity Edge: For one minute, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

Zhonya's Hourglass: You can use your reaction to become incapacitated and resistant to all damage. Both of these effects end at the start of your next turn.

Summoner Spells

10th-level Path of the Crocodile feature

As a Crocodile, these are the only spells you get. You can cast them once per long rest.

Teleport: You can cast Dimension Door without spell components once per day with limited restrictions:

  • The spell takes one turn to "channel" and will activate at the start of your next turn.

Flash: You can cast Misty Step without spell components once per day as a reaction or bonus action.

  • Can be used as a reaction in response to being targeted by an attack roll or spell. This causes the attack or spell to fail unless you are still within range of the spells affected area (such as Fireball) or the caster still has line of sight.
  • If used as a bonus action, Slice n Dice can be used in the same bonus action.

Dominus

14th-level Path of the Crocodile feature

The power of your rage increases due to your curse. When you activate rage, you can choose to enter an ultimate form for 10 minutes and receive the following benefits:

  • Your size increases to Huge.
  • You gain temporary hit points equal to twice your Barbarian level.
  • Your weapon reach increases by 5 feet.
  • You create a magical storm around you, at the end of each of your turns you deal 2d12 necrotic damage to any creature of your choice in a 10 ft radius.

This form ends early if you are no longer in rage. This form can only be activated once per day.
