Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

A Phantom Knight is similar to a Phantom Rogue but with some slight differences.

Be it because you messed with the dead, killed someone and now they haunt you, or you did something as simple as sleeping in a graveyard, and wether you like it or not you have a connection to the dead

Commune with dead

When you take this class at level 3 you can see, hear and communicate with undead creatures. You can see all ghost and phantoms, and you can understand what they are saying even if they can’t communicate, and they can understand you even if you’re speaking in a language it didn’t know during life

Phantom weapon

At 3rd level When your hands are free as a bonus action you can create a weapon that you are proficient with that deals 1d6 force damage (this increases to 1d8 at 6th level, and 1d10 at 9th level and 1d12 at 12th level) this weapon has a reach of 5ft and disappears if it is 10ft away from you or if it’s in a deferent persons hand

you can use this ability equal to 1/2 your proficiency bonus

Phantom upgrade

At 3rd level You can use the powers of the dead too deal extra damage with your weapons. Once per turn when you make a melee attack you can add an extra 1d4 force damage (this damage increases to 1d6 at 6th, 1d8 at 9th, 1d10 at 12th, and 1d12 at 15th level) on top of your normal damage

Undead Gifts

At 7th level When you kill an enemy they leave behind small “gifts” or trinkets what the gift is, is determined by the DM. There are 3 things you can do with these gifts

  • You can destroy one to activate your phantom weapon ability without expending a use
  • You can destroy one to make go forward another 10 feet
  • You can destroy one to Get and extra use of second wind

You can use an undead gift once per round and you can carry a total amount = to 1/2 your proficiency bonus

Phantom Form

At 10th level, you can phase partially into the realm of the dead, becoming like a ghost. As a bonus action, you assume a spectral form. While in this form, you have a flying speed of 10 feet, you can hover, and attack rolls have disadvantage against you. You are resistant to Acid, Cold, Fire, necrotic, poison Lightning, Thunder; Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing From Nonmagical Attacks, and do you have vulnerability to radiant damage. You can also move through creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, but you take 2d12 force damage if you end your turn inside a creature or an object.

You stay in this form for 10 minutes or until you end it as a bonus action. To use this feature again, you must finish a long rest or destroy one of your undead gifts as part of the bonus action you use to activate Ghost Walk.

Gifts from the undead

At 15th level At the end of a long rest, a soul trinket appears in your hand if you don't have any soul trinkets

Undead command

At 18th level you can destroy an undead gift and all undead creatures within a 50ft spherical radius falls under your command for 1 hour after that hour though the DM will roll 1d20 and if it rolls less then a 17 then all the undead still alive turn on you
