Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Born with an intuitive grasp of probability, Chance Sorcerers stack the deck to ensure their party is always lucky. Uses Int for spell casting modifier and can choose spells from the Bard or Sorcerer spell list when leveling.

Born Lucky

Draw on the Fate of your bloodline to gain a bit of extra luck.

Finders Keepers

Gain proficiency with thieves tools and sleight of hand. Whenever you successfully pick a new lock or loot a humanoid corpse, roll 2d6 and discover that much gold.

At higher levels: Increases total gold by an additional 2d6 each at level 4, level 8, & level 12.

Mote of Possibility

As a bonus action, create a mote of possibility after you cast a spell spell of first level or higher. Grant the mote to an allied target, giving a plus 4 to their next attack roll or saving throw.

Probability Engine

At level 6, learn to stack the forces of chance heavily in your favor. Whenever an ally rolls a natural 1 or a natural 20, instantly cast a known spell of 2nd level or lower. Spell does not consume a spell slot, nor does casting it consume a reaction.

Unfair Advantage

When rolling damage dice on a spell level 1 or higher, reroll any 1’s and replace the damage with the higher roll. Spells with attack rolls now crit on a 19 or 20.

Twist of Fate

When an allied target within 60 feet rolls a natural 1, you can expend 2 sorcery points to convert their roll to a natural 20. This ability cannot be used on the Chance Sorcerer.

When a Chance Sorcerer rolls a natural 20, they regain 1 sorcery point. Once 2 sorcery points are regained, this feature cannot be used again until a long rest.
