Base Class: Sorcerer

You seek to become master of the four elements and bring balance.

Mastered Element

At level 1 Choose one of the four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, Air). This becomes your elemental mastery. You can only have one elemental mastery at this level. All of your spells gain the corresponding effects. Work with your dm on how you think they should work by flavor by adding water, ice, stones, flames, or jets of air etc...

All damage is still considered magical when it comes to over coming nonmagical resistance.

Air

All of your spell damage becomes force and can push targets 5ft

Earth

All of your spell damage becomes either bludgeoning or thunder.

Fire

All of your spell damage becomes either fire or radiant.

Water

All of your spell damage becomes either force or cold.

The Avatar State

At first level you gain use of the avatar state once per long rest. While in the avatar state all elements are considered mastered and all spell damage dice are doubled. The avatar state lasts up to 1 minute.

  • However, if you drop to 0 hit points or lower while in the avatar state you lose all of your current levels in sorcerer and must choose a new class or subclass.
  • You gain 1d4 levels in that class per long rest until you reach a level that equals the sorcerer level(s) you lost
  •  When the avatar state ends you gain a level of exhaustion.

Book One Hero

At level 6 you gain another element mastery. In addition, your mastered elements gain the following the benefits

Book One Air

Your spells can now push up to ten feet. You gain a 30ft fly speed.

Book One Earth

You can now choose slashing damage for spells.(metal bending)

Book One Fire

You can now choose lightning damage for spells. (lightning bending)

Book One Water

You can now choose necrotic damage for spells.(blood bending)

Book Two Legend

At level 14 you gain a third elemental mastery. Your mastered elements gain the following benefits.

Book Two Air

Flying does not exhaust you. You will never have to touch the ground again.

Book Two Earth

Whenever you do an earth bent spell that deals bludgeoning or thunder damage it also deals half that spells damage as fire. (lava bending)

Book Two Fire

When using fire bent spells empowered spell costs no sorcery points.(once per spell)

Book Two Water

When using water bent spells twinned spells cost 1 less sorcery point

Master of all Four Elements

At level 18 you have become master of all four elements. Also, you can remain in the Avatar state for up to 15 min.
