Base Class: Barbarian
A Barbarian of the Razor's Edge uses their rage to tap into Psionic Talent. They enter a state of absolute focus, and with their emotional energy acting as fuel for their Psionic feats, they appear stone-faced and stoic to their enemies.
Tranquil Fury
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a zen-like trance when you rage, your sole focus being the harm of your enemies. If you do so, the bonus damage from your Rage will apply to any melee attack you make, regardless of the modifier used in the attack.
Psionic Strike
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can channel psionic energy into your weapon strikes. While you're raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes extra damage equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian level. The extra damage is psychic or force; you choose the type of damage when you gain this feature.
Still Water
Beginning at 6th level, your psionic nature molds your emotions into a shield that protects you from unwanted mental intrusion. While raging, you gain resistance to Psychic damage. In addition, when you are required to roll an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma saving throw against an Enchantment or Illusion spell, or other mind-affecting condition, such as charmed or frightened, you can roll a Constitution saving throw in its place. You can activate your Rage as a reaction to such an effect before you roll the save against it.
Unnerving Stalk
Beginning at 10th level, your Tranquil Fury projects your malicious intent in waves of Psionic power, confusing and frightening your enemies as you approach them.
While in a state of Tranquil Fury, you can cut your movement speed in half to make an Intimidation check by moving toward hostile creatures that can see you. A number of those creatures equal to your Constitution modifier must contest your Intimidation with a Wisdom saving throw. If they pass, they act normally and cannot be affected by this feature for 24 hours.
Roll a d6 for each creature that fails:
On a 1-3, the creature will choose to Fight; it stands its ground and attacks you as much as it can, but it swings wildly out of fear, imposing disadvantage on all of its attack rolls.
On a 4-5, the creature chooses Flight; it is frightened of you, and will use its action to flee from you.
On a 6, the creature Freezes; it is paralyzed.
The effect lasts for the duration of your Tranquil Fury.
Psionic Lash
At 14th Level, you become more proficient with using your Psionic abilities in battle. Once per round, you can choose one of the following effects when you take the Attack action.
1) Your psionic weapon strike is empowered. You add your Constitution Modifier to your Psionic Strike damage, and the damage increases to a D8
2) In place of one of your attacks, you can unleash a devastating burst of Psionic energy. The DC to resist the effect equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier:
- If you chose Psychic for your Psionic Strike Damage, you can overwhelm your enemies with emotional feedback. Choose a number of creatures equal to your Constitution
modifier that you can see within 30 feet. Those creatures take Psychic damage equal to 1d6+ half your Barbarian level and must roll an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, they are stunned. - If you chose Force for your Psionic Strike Damage, you can unleash a burst of psionic energy. All other creatures within five feet of you, except those with total cover, take Force damage equal to 1d6 + half your Barbarian level and must roll a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, they are knocked away from you 10 feet, and fall prone.
