Base Class: Monk

The Way of the Dragon Soul is a perilous one, as the monk who follows it ultimately hopes to ascend to the true power of a dragon. Your monk may be overpowered by the monstrous temptations of their Dragon Soul or harness and master it for immeasurable power.

Dragon Soul

At level 3 you learn of your Dragon Soul, gaining new abilities to help you in your travels.

Dragon Whisperer: You gain the ability to speak Draconic, if you already can speak Draconic you can choose a different language.

Draconic Type: You choose what color of dragon your Dragon Soul comes from. You can choose any dragon color you want, but only one. This effects your Dragon Souls boons later on.

Draconic Combat

Your Dragon Soul gives you more combative abilities allowing you to fight like a dragon.

Draconic Strikes: Whenever you cast Flurry of Blows, add a d6 of your Dragon Soul's damage type to both of those strikes.

Draconic Breath: You can spend 1 ki point to use a breath attack based on your Dragon Soul's color.

Draconic Protection

Your Dragon has progressed enough to give you protection from certain elements, and absorb their  power as well.

Dragon Scales: You gain resistance to your Dragon Soul's element

Draconic Absorption: Whenever you get hit by your Dragon Soul's element, gain 1 ki point

 

Draconic Ascension

Reaching the pinnacle of their Dragon Soul, your monk can manifest the dragon itself

Draconic Form: Your monk can spend 5 ki points to manifest their dragon form.In this form your monk gains  a fly speed equal to their normal movement, resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-magical weapons, immunity to their Dragon Soul's damage type, Blindsight for 30 ft., and Darkvision for 30 ft.. You can maintain this form for 10 minutes and after coming out of your Draconic Form, become stunned for 3 rounds.
