Base Class: Bard
You use the power of song to conjure and befriend beasts and animals.
Friend of the Forest
When you join the College of Beasts at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Animal Handling skill if you don’t already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses this proficiency.
Additionally, you have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence beasts.
Beast Magic
Also at 3rd level, you learn the animal friendship, find familiar, and speak with animals spells. They count as Bard spells for you, and don't count against your number of spells known.
Additionally, you can cast these spells without expending a spell slot by expending a use of your Bardic Inspiration. When you cast the find familiar spell this way, it doesn't require any material components, and the creature you summon has an Intelligence score 8, and is a beast instead of a celestial, fiend, or fey.
Lastly, you learn the conjure animals spell when you reach 6th level of Bard. This spell counts as a Bard spell for you and doesn't count against your number of spells known. You can cast this spell without expending a spell slot by expending 3 uses of your Bardic Inspiration.
Inspired Companions
At 6th level, as a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to choose a number of beasts within 60 feet of you up to your Charisma modifier. When you do so, roll your Bardic Inspiration die. Each beast you chose gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the result.
Empowered Beasts
Starting at 14th level, whenever a beast you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you may use your reaction to add your Charisma modifier to the result.
