Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Those born with natural athleticism and glistening muscles sometimes unlock the arcane power that can manifest these traits. This arcane power flowing through the body seems to bolster the athletic ability and combining this brute strength with the arcane brought about a new fighting style.

Origin Spells

You have certain spells known after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown below. These spells count as sorcerer spells for you, but they don't count against the number of known spells. Additionally, all smites may be triggered by your unarmed strike.

1st: Thunderous Smite, Inflict Wounds
3rd: Branding Smite
5th: Blinding Smite, Vampiric Tough
7th: Staggering Smite
9th: Banishing Smite, Steel Wind Strike

Spell Casting Focus

You may use a pair of brass knuckles or similar weapon, as a spellcasting focus for your sorcerer spells.

Arcane Muscles

At 1st level you have learned to infuse your arcane power into your muscles to empower them. You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes. At level 6, you unarmed strike damage is considered magical for the sake of overcoming resistances. At level 11, the damage die increases to a d6 and again at level 17 to a d8. If your spell casting focus is brass knuckles or other similar weapon, they satisfy the material component cost for cantrips and spells that require a weapon.

Additionally, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 whenever you gain a level in this class. Your massive muscles and personality seem to bolster your defenses and hamper those who attack. While not wearing armor, your AC equals 10 + STR + CHA.

Deliver with a Pow!

At 6th level, you learn a cantrip from any class that requires a spell attack roll. It is considered a sorcerer cantrip for you and does not count against the number of cantrips known.

When using a spell or cantrip that requires an attack roll, has a range of touch or melee, or originates out from you (IE Burning Hands, Thunderwave, Lightning Bolt, etc) you can deliver the spell with an unarmed strike dealing your unarmed strike damage to the target, along with the normal effects and damage of the spell or cantrip. If the spell requires an attack roll, you may decide to make your unarmed strike attack roll with either STR or CHA. This feature cannot be used on spells cast as a bonus action with the quickened spell metamagic feature.

For spells that originate from you, there must be a target within 5ft to make the unarmed strike against, otherwise the additional unarmed strike damage does not apply. If you miss the target, the unarmed strike damage does not apply, but the target is still affected by the spell damage and effects.

Additionally, when you cast a cantrip, you may expend 1 sorcery point to use your bonus action to make 1 unarmed strike. At 14th level you may make the unarmed strike after casting a spell, and may expend 2 sorcery points to make 2 additional strikes.

Glamorous Muscles

At 6th level, when interacting with another creature, you may add half your strength modifier to any Deception, Persuasion, or Intimidation roll.

Strike a Pose

At 14th level, you may use your bonus action to strike a pose, showing off your majestic muscles. Any creature within 30 ft who can see you and has not seen you strike a pose must make a wisdom saving throw or fall enamored by your muscles and become incapacitated until the beginning of your next turn. DC = 8 + (STR or CHA) + Prof. They spend their whole turn gawking at your glorious muscles. This is considered a charm effect.

During this time, they cannot take any actions. Should they be attacked during this time, the may remake the saving throw. Once a creature saves, they are immune to the effect for 24 hours. The creature automatically saves if if you are wearing anything that completely covers your chest and arms. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.

Muscle Magic Extraordinaire

You may expend 3 sorcery points to use the Deliver with a Pow feature with a spell cast as a bonus action.

You get to add your full STR modifier when using your Glamorous Muscles ability.

You may use a Sorcerer point per spell slot level used, to allow any smite spell to be cast on hit and not as a bonus action
