Oath of the Order

Members of a society devoted to finding the Gifted, the Chosen, the Select and giving them the future they deserve. While taking the future away from those who do not deserve it. They believe we live in a world corrupted by those in power; selfish, undeserving pigs oppress those below them, and have achieved power through no skill of their own, so members of The Order believe and enforce that rank and power should be gifted only to those with the virtue and skill to use them, as the Order sees fit. Members of this Order do not require you to join them to be "Chosen", they provide this title to all those they see as worthy. They also hate those in power who do not use the power they have correctly, deeming them the "Undeserving", or wasteful. A metaphor The Order often uses is that the world is a garden and the Paladins the pruners. They trim those growing out of their correct form, and uproot the weeds who have no place in this world. Not all Members are Paladins, in fact only the most elite Members achieve this honor. Regular Members do not get to divine who is Chosen and who is Undeserving, this privilege is only bestowed upon Paladins and other high ranking officials in the order. The main duty of Paladins is to find those who are worthy, and, more importantly, eliminate those who are not. They do this by marking a single "unrighteous" person as their Nemesis, eliminating that person, and repeating the process, thereby eliminating the world of corruption little by little The Order is renowned, or infamous depending on who you ask, for its harsh strictness. And in this Order you are promoted to the very top on pure talent alone, although you will have to fight tooth and nail every step of the way. Members are almost always Lawful, although they can be Chaotic. Many people disagree with the Order because of its harsh and dark methods.

Tenets of The Order

Discretion. I will keep the knowledge and secrets I hold in safe keeping.

Obedience. I will obey those above me.

Cleanse. I will find those in power, tear them down, and make new, better ones to rise and take their place.

Duty. I will break down the corruptions of the past to bring about a better future.

Furious Divine Smite

You deal double damage on Divine Smite against your Nemesis.

Mark the Unrighteous

You may, as an action, mark one person, beast, etc. as your Nemesis. You may have only one person marked at one time. If your Nemesis is within the range of your Aura, they suffer 1d6 radiant damage each turn. You cannot use this ability again until you take a long rest.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following four Channel Divinity options.

Silent Fury. You gain the ability to see in dim light up to 100 ft and in darkness as if it were dim light, but you see only shades of grey in darkness. You gain Invisibility until the end of your next turn. Your next non-spell attack deals radiant damage instead of its damage type and you automatically get a critical hit.

Awesome Power. All your non-spell attacks all do radiant damage instead of their damage type and have advantage until the end of your next turn.

Dark Takeover. One Monster or Enemy within 30 ft of you must make a Charisma saving throw, if they fail you take control of them until the end of your next turn, and they take 1d12 necrotic damage after the end of your next turn, or 1d10 if they succeed the Charisma saving throw.

Curse the Wicked. Your Nemesis takes 1d8 necrotic damage each turn for three turns and is frightened of you.

No Escape

At 7th level you gain the ability to know the location of your Nemesis wherever they go.

Righteous Anger

At 15th level you gain advantage on all attacks targeting your Nemesis.

Cleanse Evil

At 20th level you gain advantage on all attacks targeting foes with an Evil alignment.
