Weave Blockers know how dangerous magic can be in the wrong hands. They learn how to neutralize mages and other arcane users with precision and finesse.

Deflect Arcane

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your Deflect Missiles feature to also deflect ranged spell attacks. When using this feature you use your Wisdom modifier instead of Dexterity to reduce incoming damage. If reduced to 0 damage you may deflect the spell to a new target within 30 ft of you that remains in line of sight, spending 1 Ki point to do so.

Weave Sense

Starting at 3rd level, as an Action you can spend 1 Ki point to sense the presence of magic within 30 feet of you for a duration of 10 minutes as long as you concentrate. If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any. Your sense can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

Elemental Counter

Starting at 6th level, when you use your Deflect Arcane feature you can now add the damage you negate to your next attack as you absorb the magical potential. You have resistance to the absorbed damage type for 1 minute, or until you use absorb a different damage type.

Distort Weave

Starting at 11th level, you know how to recognize then counteract rituals and ongoing magical effects. As an action, you can spend 3 Ki points, then choose one creature, object, or magical effect within range. Any spell of 3rd level or lower on the target ends. For each spell of 4th level or higher on the target, make an ability check using your Wisdom. The DC equals 10 + the spell’s level. On a successful check, the spell ends.

Weave Blocker

Upon reaching 17th level, you’ve gained the knowledge to manipulate a creature’s ki to undermine their access to the Weave. When you hit another creature with a melee weapon attack, you can spend 3 ki points to attempt a weave blocker strike. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw equal to, 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier, or be unable to cast spells for 1 minute. They may attempt their saving throw again every round on their turn.
