Bard
Base Class: Bard

A bard who uses illusions and clones to awe and confuse their opponents.

Created by Binbag and Grimexit.

One Man Band

At 3rd level, you gain the ability as an action to create an illusionary copy of yourself with an additional copy at the 6th, 12th, and 18th level. The copies remain summoned until you fall unconscious, they drop to 0 hit points, or an hour has passed, whereupon it disappears. You may forgo summoning an additional clone and allowing your clones summoned to stay summoned for an additional 2 hours per clone not summoned.

Your copy acts independently of you, but it always obeys your commands. In combat, it rolls its own initiative and acts on its own turn.

You can communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, as an action, you can see through your copy's eyes and hear what it hears until the start of your next turn. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses.

The copy has proficiency in all instruments you do and is summoned with an instrument of your choice on its person.

The copy has physical form and can interact with everything around it as you could, but if the copy goes further than 100 ft. away from you, it disappears.

A creature must use its bonus action to examine the copies before it can determine which one is real, the creature can determine that the clones are illusions with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusions for what they are, the illusions become faint to the creature.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
