Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians and Bards have always had one thing in common: they always need to be the center of attention. Barbarians that follow the Path of the Raucous Voice harness the air in their lungs and the friction of their vocal cords to create loud, thunderous performances, on and off the battlefield. Some may have been former bards who wanted their music to be a little more "metal", while other may have a dream of performing, but simply aren't that great at singing. Either way, you will know if a Raucous Voice barbarian is near you. You need only listen (and probably cover your ears).
Thunderous Voice
3rd-level Path of the Raucous Voice feature
Starting at 3rd level, when you enter your rage, you can choose to let out a powerful battle cry. If you do, every creature within 20 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw that equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your CON modifier. On a failure, the creature takes 1d12 thunder damage.
The amount of thunder damage increases to 2d12 at 10th level.
Performative Splendor
3rd-level Path of the Raucous Voice feature
You can now cast the Thaumaturgy cantrip, and gain proficiency in Performance checks and a musical instrument of your choice.
Vocal Amplification
6th-Level Path of the Raucous Voice feature
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be silenced or deafened while raging. If you are silenced or deafened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Amphoric Echo
10th-level Path of the Raucous Voice feature
Beginning at 10th level, when you use your Thunderous Voice feature, you can choose up to 5 creatures that are unaffected by it. Additionally, until the start of your next turn, your AC increases by an amount equal to the number of creatures that take damage from Thunderous Voice.
Anechoic Scream
14th-level Path of the Raucous Voice feature
Beginning at 14th level, you can let out a cacophony of noise from your lungs. As an action, you can scream, creating an area of extremely loud noise around you. For the duration, no other sounds can be created within or pass through a 20-foot-radius sphere centered yourself. Upon activation and at the end of a creature’s turn, a creature inside the sphere must make a Constitution saving throw (equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or take thunder damage equal to half your Barbarian level rounded down, plus 5 thunder damage while raging. A creature takes half damage on a success. Creatures are deafened while entirely inside it. Casting a spell that includes a verbal component is impossible there. If a creature covers their ears while inside the sphere, they must still make the saving throw, as the vibrations of your scream disrupt their normal body rhythm.
While using Anechoic Scream, your speed is reduced to 0. You can scream for a number of minutes equal to 1 + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 30 seconds). You must concentrate on this effect as if you were concentrating on a spell. You can use this feature once between long rests without repercussions. If you use this feature more than once between long rests, you take 1 level of exhaustion after you end your scream.
