Way of the Wind Warrior

Monks who follow the Way of the Wind Warrior learn to strike like the wind itself. They are masters of Step of the Wind and in time learn to strike with their weapons with such power they shoot off blades of wind. 

There are no monasteries for Wind Warriors, rather a Master of the Way will find one or two worthy students over the course of their lives to train. Generally they seek out students who have been disadvantaged in some way like urchins, oppressed or outcasts. 

Legend has it that the first Wind Warrior was a urchin who stole a djinn's lamp not realizing what it was. When the djinn said it would grant the urchin whatever they desired he asked to be trained to be a great warrior. 

Elusive Wind

They can take the Step of the Wind a number of times equal to their proficiency modifier plus their wisdom modifier per short rest without expending a ki point

Wind Strike

When a Wind Warrior tales the attack action they can infuse their strike with the power of the wind.

You can spend 1 ki point to shoot out a blast or a blade of wind from your monk weapon or unarmed strike when you take the melee attack action for a distance of 5ft x your proficiency modifier. Damage from this attack does an addition martial arts die of force damage. 

Speed of the Wind

When taking the Step of the Wind a Wind Warrior's movement is doubled and their jump distance is quadrupled.  

Master of the Winds

At Level 17 when the Wind Warrior takes the Step of the Wind action they can fly for the entire round. They are able to take the Step of the Wind on each subsequent round so long as they have enough key points so that it seems the leap trough the sky.
