Way of the Dimensional Soul

Through your study and meditations you learn to manipulate pocket dimensions to store useful items and energies as well as create dimensional duplicates of yourself and teleport various distances.

Dimensional Arts

At 3rd level, you can use your ki to duplicate the effects of certain spells. As an action, you can spend 2 Ki points to cast Mirror Image, Rope Trick, or Wristpocket, without providing material components. Wristpocket is a ritual spell and may be cast as such, doing so negates the Ki point cost. Additionally, you gain the Message cantrip if you don't already know it.

Dimensional Palm

At 3rd level, through your meditation rituals, you've learned how to manipulate the Wristpocket in unique ways, while it's active you have access to the following effects.

- When you make an object vanish with the Wristpocket ability, instead of holding it in your hand, you only need to place your hand near it. This allows you to take dangerous things like fire, rats, wasps, or anything you come across that weighs no more than 5 pounds. 

- If the Wristpocket is empty, as a reaction when you take acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, radiant, or thunder damage, you may reduce this damage by an amount equal to 2 rolls of your martial arts die. This stores that amount of damage, of the triggering damage type, within the Wristpocket. 

- You may expel the contents of the Wristpocket by spending 1 Ki point when you hit with an unarmed attack. If it's a stored damage type from a reaction, it deals the amount of damage that was negated. If it's from a previous use of wristpocket and something appropriately damaging(like a 5 pound rock for bludgeoning damage), it deals extra damage equal to two rolls of your martial arts die.

Dimensional Duplicates

Starting at 6th level, you can form a special connection to the duplicates provided by Mirror Image. While Mirror Image is active, you can spend 2 Ki points to cast Misty Step, turning one of the duplicates into a portal you use to teleport, which destroys that duplicate.

At 17th level, you can spend 4 Ki points to cast Dimension Door, turning one of the duplicates into the "door" you use to teleport, which destroys that duplicate.

Dimensional Message

Starting at 11th level, you have learned how to send messages through extra dimensional space. You may spend 3 Ki points to cast Sending, without providing material components.

Dimensional Pocket Trick

By 17th level, your experience with extra dimensional space can allow you to connect your Wristpocket to your Rope Trick. While both are active you can use your Wristpocket ability to store up to 40 pounds or 8 uses of available damage types(or combination of the 2), which you can expel individually or all at once. When you hit with an unarmed attack and choose to expel any or all of the contents, you spend 1 Ki point per 5 pounds/damage type uses available, dealing an extra amount of damage equal to the reaction damage negated or two rolls of your martial arts die per Ki point spent of the corresponding stored damage types. Your Wristpocket is considered empty until the stated maximums are reached.
