Hemomancy, Blood Magic, is the manipulation of the power of life to fuel the magics of the world. From using your own life energy to cast spells and transfer life to allies, to dominating the blood of enemies and turning them to do your bidding, the power and potency of blood should not be wielded lightly.

Bloodletting

You have an understanding and the ability to draw on your life force to cast spells. In addition to spell slots, you may use your Hit Dice to cast spells instead of relying upon your mana reserves. You may choose to spend one Hit Die per level of spell you wish to cast. When Hit Die are used in this manner, roll those Hit Die and take the result as Necrotic damage. This damage cannot be resisted.

Sanguinary Recuperation

With a greater understanding of the life forces of blood and mana, you gain some control of how your life is fueled. Once per, you may take 10 minutes to restore your body's vigor. You can replenish a number of spent Hit Die equal to your proficiency modifier.

Blood Transfusion

Starting at 6th level, you may use an action to spend a Hit Die to transfer life essence from yourself to another creature. You take damage equal to the Hit Die, while the creature heals that same amount + your Intelligence modifier.

Life Leech

Starting at 10th level, whenever you cast a spell that absorbs health from a creature, steals health from a creature, or causes you or an ally to roll Hit Dice to heal, you regain the maximum amount of Hit Points possible.

Rupture

Starting at 14th, you gain the ability to destroy the life force of a creature. Once per Long Rest, as an action, you can force a creature of your choice within 60 feet to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 1d12 necrotic damage per your Intelligence modifier. On a successful save, the target takes half damage.

Life Transference

You have trained with the magics that allow the innate power of life to be manipulated. You gain access to the spells that deal with the removal and absorption of life energy.
