Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The spells you cast are all connected to ice and snow. You only have a access to a limited range of spells. The damage caused by your spells is cold even if it listed as otherwise in the spell description. Where the spell would normally provide options you only have access to those relating to cold.

Ice Magic

Spells like shield, web, stone skin or grease for example manifest as conjured ice. Your spells cause cold damage and can only use the cold descriptor of spells where other options are provided. Additionally your spells do not require concentration while you are in arctic or cold environments. Conversely, spells with a duration require concentration in desert or hot conditions.

Affinity for Cold

You gain resistance to cold

Ice Shield

Unless surprised, once per round, when hit by an attack you can conjure a shield of ice as a reaction. This shield provides you with +5 armor class against the triggering attack.

Elemental Steed

Beginning at 6th level, you summon a water elemental steed. This spell functions like the summon steed spell with the additional ability of being able to travel across the surface of any body of water as if it were solid.

Storm Flight

Beginning at 14th level, you gain the ability to summon and ice storm, gaining a flying speed equal to your current speed. You can create this storm as a bonus action on your turn. It lasts until you dismiss it as a bonus action on your turn.

One with the Ice

Beginning at level 14 you gain immunity to cold damage

Ice Golem

Beginning at 18th level, as an action you can spend 5 sorcery points to create an ice golem. This golem has the same statistics as a clay golem except is resistant to cold instead of acid and has vulnerability to fire. The golem serves you for an hour or until you lose your concentration and then disappears. Halve this time for desert or hot environments and increase it to 24 hours for arctic or cold environments.
