Base Class: Cleric
There is forbidden magic and those sworn to guard its secrets. The Shadows and Secrets Domain protects mortals from spells that dominate the mind, erode the body, and raise the dead. These clerics delve into the archives of their enemies in order to combat evil magic, but the forbidden knowledge has a way of corrupting those who study on it.
Gods of dark magic grant their clerics a boon of shadows to cover their tracts when accessing tomes kept under lock and key. These deities include The Shadow of Eberron, Morgion of Dragonlance, Shar of the Forgotten Realms, and Vecna of Greyhawk.
Some clerics perform their duty by fanatically eliminating those who know too much. Others run off to advise evil tyrants while scheming to take the throne for themselves. Fear and suspicion of one of your own harnessing dark magic for themselves constantly pervade your temple. There are few friends amongst your domain, for some secrets can get you killed.

Bonus Proficiency
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency with the deception and investigation skills.
To facilitate your pursuit of forbidden knowledge, you have learned to speak, read, and write Abyssal and Infernal.
Forbidden Knowledge
At 1st level, you learn one warlock cantrip of your choice. This cantrip counts as a cleric cantrip for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of cleric cantrips you know.
Channel Divinity: Compel Truth
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to compel others to reveal their secrets. As an action, you create a magical Zone of Truth 15-ft around you where others have difficulty lying. The magical zone does not affect you.
The effect lasts 10 minutes. Until the effect ends, a creature that enters the spell’s area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, a creature can’t speak a deliberate lie while in the radius. You know whether each creature succeeds or fails on its saving throw. An affected creature is aware of the spell and can thus avoid answering questions to which it would normally respond with a lie. Such a creature can be evasive in its answers as long as it remains within the boundaries of the truth.
Dark Secrets
At 6th Level, you learn two spells of your choice from the divination, enchantment, or necromancy schools of magic. These spells can be from any class spell list, including this one. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast. The chosen spells count as cleric spells for you but don’t count against the number of cleric spells you know.
Potent Spellcasting
Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with cantrips.
Grandmaster of Dark Secrets
Your devotion to uncovering forbidden magic has revealed spells others find detestable. You learn any six spells from the Divination, Enchantment, or Necromancy schools of magic. The chosen spells count as cleric spells for you but don’t count against the number of cleric spells you know.
