Base Class: Fighter
The Lucha Libre are a unique, comical, and extremely proud band of people who are among the very few charismatic fighters and are either loved or hated by their teammates. These wrestlers have learned the ways of the ring but now they must use all they have learned and more to fight out in the open using a mix of grapples, takedowns, and sly movements a Lucha Libre fighter is nigh unbeatable.
Luchador’s Specialties
3rd Level
When reaching 3rd level Lucha Libre's are granted proficiency in Sleight of Hand, Performance, and Athletics. If you already have proficiency in these skills, you gain double proficiency except for Sleight of Hand.
Additionally, your unarmed attacks now deal damage equal to 1d4 +STR. This damage increases to 1d6 at 5th level, 2d6 at 11th level, 2d8 at 17th level.
Optional: You are granted a special Lucha Libre mask and suit that doesn’t count against you unarmed defense bonus. The suit is just for flavor and provides no strategical or mechanical advantage. You may even have an alias or different persona for the wrestler completely separate from the person underneath.
Unstoppable
3rd Level
Due to your trainings in the ring without armor you gain a special kind of defense that seems almost magical.
You gain the following AC when not wearing any armor: 10 + STR + proficiency bonus. Although you still gain the bonus to AC while wearing a shield it comes with many downsides.
Crushing Takedowns
3rd Level
When moving at least 10 ft. within 5 ft. of an enemy you may make an attack as an action. Choose between the Lariat, Swift Grapple, or Dropkick. This feature can be used twice per long rest. You cannot target a creature larger than you.
Lariat. The Lariat deals bludgeoning damage equal to your Strength modifier and on a failed DEX save (dc 12 +STR) knocks them prone.
Swift Grapple. The Swift grapple deals no damage but knocks the enemy prone and grappled after a failed DEX save (dc 8 +STR +Proficiency mod).
Dropkick. The Dropkick deals damage equal to your Unarmed Attack and knocks the enemy prone after a failed DEX or CON save of your choice (10 +STR +Athletics mod). This attack also knocks you prone regardless of a successful or failed save.
Honed Footwork
7th Level
You gain a bonus to walking speed equal to 10ft. Your climbing speed is also set to a base of 10 ft.
Superior Grip
7th Level
A feature similar to the Grappler feat.
If you have a creature grappled, you can pin the creature using the rules of the Grappler feat. However, if you already have the Grappler feat then you gain advantage when trying to pin a creature.
Rising Suplex
10th Level
To activate this feature, you must be behind the enemy you’re targeting and the target must not be larger than your size.
You must make an Athletics (STR) check to lift the creature and then suplex them. The dc is equal to 17 +CR of that creature, if the creature’s CR is under 1 then it counts as 0. On a successful check the enemy ends up behind you and knocked prone as well as taking bludgeoning damage equal to proficiency but on a failed check you deal no damage, and the enemy does not move.
If and after you make a successful Athletics check, you may make an additional Acrobatics (DEX) check to launch yourself in the air. The initial 5 ft. upwards is a dc of 13+CR of that creature. Every 5 ft. Upwards is a separate check and the dc increases by 2 for every check.
The damage is equal to 2d8 bludgeoning damage initially when landing on the ground. It gains an additional 1d8 for every 5ft upwards in the air
This feature can only be used once per long rest.
Mystic Endowment
15th Level
Now exposed to the outside world you have gained magical properties helping you even further to takedown your foes.
You gain resistance to non-magical bludgeoning and piercing damage. Additionally, all your attacks that deal bludgeoning damage count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances.
Stunning Performance
15th Level
Their fun demeanor and general attitude lifts up their teammates and persuades even the most untrusting foes.
This feature has one charge per day but has multiples abilities that all require one charge and an action.
Persuading Performance. You may make a Performance check instead of a Persuasion or Intimidation check to persuade someone (within reason).
Adoring Fan. You may try to charm a humanoid within sight of you, but they must also be aware of you. This ability acts exactly like the Charm Person spell except for the pre-stated differences. The dc is equal to 12 +CHA.
Inspiring Visage. You may try to give inspiration to any willing Humanoid within sight of 30 ft. of you who’s also aware of you. You must make a Performance (CHA) check with a dc of 15 to give inspiration.
Luchador’s Raining Justice
18th Level
As an action once per long rest you can activate this feature. You must be at least 5 ft. Above and 10 ft. within your target’s range to activate this feature. You cannot target a creature two sizes or larger.
You shoot downwards at your target forcing the target to make a DEX save with a dc of 9 +STR + Proficiency mod.
If you are above 40 ft. above the enemy and they can sense you approaching, they make the DEX save at advantage. Additionally, if you are above 20 ft. you can reduce your fall damage by the damage done to the enemy.
On a failed save they take 2d10 thunder or bludgeoning (your choice) damage, knocked prone, and can be grappled at your discretion. However, on a successful save the target takes half damage and is knocked prone as well as you being knocked prone.
Earned Perfection
18th Level
Nothing is given. Only the most elite and powerful Lucha Libre have reached a state they call "Afila Cuerpo", there is no definite or specific level or bar to hit to attain such a honed form. Everyone reaches it at a different point in their journey but when reached, they and everyone around them know.
You gain resistance to all non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage, gain the Grappler Feat, a 10 ft. bonus to all jumps, and advantage on all Athletic and Acrobatics checks. If you already have the Grappler feat then you may gain an additional feat, the effects of both Grappler effects do not stack.
