Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

The Winged Dragoon, or sometimes commonly referred to as just "dragoons", are a group of ranger warriors that specialize in taking on and taming winged beasts of the sky, such as griffons, rocs, and even dragons. The legend of their name is directly tied to the mighty heroes throughout time who continue to dedicate themselves to birds of prey and taking down huge flying monstrosities that terrorize the land. Their teachings have been passed down and perfected, recruiting new rangers to their order who show promise. Rangers that take on this path are known for their iconic way of fighting; propelling themselves unnaturally through the air, using polearms as their weapon of choice. Though they wear heavy armor, they are never at a disadvantage against foes that fight from above. Each Winged Dragoon learns a bonding ritual with a falcon companion, which fights by their side and acts as their eyes in the sky.
