Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

You are a cleric studying the domain of speaking to greater deities, often demons, who reveal themselves through mutation and physical corruption. These demons often require a mortal sacrifice for them to control with their spirit.

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at the 1st level, you gain proficiency in deception and persuasion.

Channel Divinity: Twisted Embrace

Starting at the 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to warp creatures.

As an action, you present your holy symbol and choose a creature that is friendly to you within 60 ft of you. That creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails, its saving throw you may choose an effect for it.

  • Wings: Demonic, clawed wings sprout directly from the back of the target, granting it a flying speed equal to its moving speed.
  • Firebranded: A flaming rune appears upon the target, granting it to cast Firebolt once without using a spell slot.
  • Additional Limbs: Up to seven limbs sprout from the target, granting it the ability to use an unarmed strike attack as a bonus action.

Each of the effects last an hour, before the creatures return to normal. In addition, a creature affected by any of these mutations has it’s creature type changed to Monstrosity.

Cursed Aura

Beginning at the 6th level, for any creature within 90 feet of you with a bonus to its Wisdom save, that bonus becomes +0.

Divine Strike

At the 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy.  Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 bludgeoning damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Mutated Mastery

At the 17th level onwards, whenever you use your channel divinity to grant a creature an option, you may choose all three instead. If you do, you and the creature take 1d6 psychic damage each.
