Warlords are accomplished and competent battle leaders. Warlords stand on the front-line issuing commands and bolstering their allies while leading the battle with weapon in hand. Warlords know how to rally a team to win a fight. Your ability to lead others to victory is a direct result of your history. You could be a minor war chief looking to make a name for yourself, a pious knight commander on leave from your militant order, a youthful noble eager to apply years of training to life outside the castle walls, a calculating mercenary captain, or a courageous marshal of the borderlands who fights to protect the frontier. Regardless of your background, you are a skillful warrior with an uncanny gift for leadership. The weight of your armor is not a hindrance; it is a familiar comfort. The worn weapon grip molds to your hand as if it were a natural extension of your arm. It’s time to fight and to lead.

Continue the Onslaught

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, as a part of an attack action, you and each ally within 10 feet of you that can hear you gain a bonus to their attack rolls equal to your proficiency bonus against the marked creature until the end of your next turn. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. It refreshes on a long rest.

Sunder Armor

At 7th level, as a part of an attack action, you can hit a creature and sunder their armor. Any attack against the marked creature can score a critical hit on a 19-20 until the end of your next turn. This ability refreshes on a long rest.

Defensive Rally

Starting at 10th level, as a reaction, you and each ally within 30 feet of you that can hear you can reroll a saving throw. All friendly creatures within range gain +1 AC and +2 to all saving throws until the end of your next turn. This ability refreshes on a long rest.

Improved Sundering

When you become 15th level, your Sunder Armor also reduces the target’s movement speed by 15 feet.

Relentless Assault

Beginning at 18th level, when you or an ally score a critical hit, you and each ally within range of the marked creature that can hear you can make a basic attack against it as a reaction. This ability refreshes on a long rest.
