Base Class: Barbarian
To many barbarians, rage is simply a tool, a means to an end. To the berserker however, the rage has become something more. It is the path of unstoppable fury, the thrill of the fight, the red mist at the edge of your vision, the single focus purpose - to kill, destroy, and maim, completely disregarding your personal well-being to achieve this goal.
Frenzy
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy when you rage. If you do so, for the duration of your rage you can make an extra melee weapon attack as part of your regular attack action on each of your turns after this one. You may use this feature a number of times up to your [modifier]constitution[/modifier] (minimum of once) modifier per long rest. If you had no uses remaining at the beginning of your rage, then when your rage ends, you gain one level of exhaustion.
Mindless Rage
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Retaliation
Starting at 10th level, when you take damage from a creature within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make an attack action with a melee weapon against the creature.
Endless Frenzy
Starting at 14th level, while in a frenzy and you drop to 0 hit points, instead of going unconscious you can choose to become fully consumed by the berserker rage. The only actions you can take in this state are movement and attack actions. If you end a turn without taking the attack action your rage ends and you fall unconscious. While at 0 hit points you continue to make death saving throws, although you do not die as long as you continue to rage. If your rage ends, or your hit points have increased above 0, you immediately take a level of exhaustion.

Posted Jul 18, 2023Note from creator, this sucks and you shouldn't use it. Unfortunately I can't delete it. I'll get around to actually fixing it someday, or just copy dnd 5.5's design philosophy which is pretty decent.
