Base Class: Fighter
Some fighters are driven by a burning desire for revenge, and will stop at nothing to eliminate those who have wronged them. Others are bound by powerful curses that give them great power, but also force them to act against their will. The Curse-Bound Warrior is a subclass for fighters who are either motivated by revenge or are under the influence of a curse. These fighters channel their anger and despair into powerful combat abilities that allow them to wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill and are considered proficient in the use of any cursed item you wield.
Cursed Strike
Starting at 3rd level, your attacks have an added inflict a curse to your enemies, When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to expend one hit die to curse the target. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or become cursed for the next minute. Cursed creature has disadvatange on attack rolls against you and any other creature of your choice, and has a -2 penalty to damage rolls against you and the chosen creatures. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses after a long rest.
Hexed Aura
At 7th level, you gain the ability to project a dark, malevolent aura that weakens your foes. As an action, you can create an aura in a 10-foot radius around you that lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. Any hostile creature that starts its turn within the aura must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier). On a failed save, the creature is frightened of you until the start of its next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses after a long rest
Curse-Fuelled Fury
At 10th level, you learn to harness the power of your curses to enter a state of uncontrollable rage. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can choose to enter a state of Curse-Fueled Fury as a bonus action. While in this state, you gain temporary hit points equal to your fighter level, and your weapon attacks deal an extra 2d6 necrotic damage. In addition, you can make an additional weapon attack as a bonus action on each of your turns. You can remain in this state for up to 1 minute. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses after a long rest
Cursebringer
At 15th level, your curses become even more powerful. Whenever you curse a creature with your Cursed Strike feature, the creature's speed is also halved, and it can't regain hit points.
Unleash the Curse
At 18th level, you gain the ability to unleash the full power of your curses on your enemies. As an action, you can choose up to three creatures within 30 feet of you that you have cursed with your Cursed Strike feature. Each of the chosen creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or take damage equal to 8d6 necrotic damage and become stunned until the end of their next turn. You can use this feature once and regain expended use after a long rest.
