The Barbarian devotes his life and Glory to Odin.  As you gain level Odin grants you more abilities

The Hunting Wolf

At level 3, Upon committing yourself to Odin,  During your rage the All-Father grants the following abilities.  The awareness of the Hunting Wolf:

  • You gain a +5 bonus to initiative.
  • You can't be surprised while you are conscious.
  • Other creatures don’t gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.

Raven's Flight

At 3rd level you gain your Barbarian Rage damage Bonus to thrown Axes.

Valkries Protection

Through your dedication to Odin, he grants the protection of his Valkyries.  At third level you gain +2 AC as long as you wear NO Armor.

Releasing the Beast

At 6th level you gain ability to enlarge (as in the Spell) yourself for the duration of your rage.  At the time you declare your rage it must be stated that you will be enlarged or not, it can not be added once the rage has started.

Enlarge. The target's size doubles in all dimensions, and its weight is multiplied by eight. This growth increases its size by one category-- from Medium to Large, for example. If there isn't enough room for the target to double its size, the creature or object attains the maximum possible size in the space available.  The target's weapons also grow to match its new size. While these weapons are enlarged, the target's attacks with them deal 1d4+2 extra damage.

Cheating Death

Through the power of Odin and his power over death, you can cheat death for a short time.

At 10th level while raging if you are reduced to 0 or below hp, you will stay at 1 hp for the duration of the Rage.  When the Rage ends you collapse.  You immediately fail 1 death saving throw and must roll for the second unless immediate healing is received.

After the rage, whether you cheat death or not you must take a short rest or suffer a level of exhaustion.

Odin's Spear

Upon reaching 14th level Odin grants more of his power.  3 time per long rest you can summon a Spear of Lightning.

When thrown the spears shoots out in a bolt of lightning, forming a line 5 feet wide that extends out from you to a target within 120 feet. Each creature between you and the target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 6d6 lightning damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The lightning bolt turns back into a spear when it reaches the target. Make a ranged weapon attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes damage from the spear and on a failed save takes additional 10d6 lightning damage, half as much if succeeded.

Dexterity DC 17 saving throw.
