Monk
Base Class: Monk

Notice: This subclass is inspired by the anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

You have seen the ways of the astral self, but you believed that there was more than just a pair of arms in your spirit. You believed that there was a whole body, an avatar if you will. After training your spirit past its limits, you have unlocked your avatar and learned how to control its power. Through your training, you have unlocked power unlike any other. Use this power wisely, for it is very powerful.

Summon Avatar

Beginning at 3rd level, you are able to spend 2 ki points and summon the full avatar of your fighting spirit. It lasts for 1 minute and you can call or until it is killed. You can conjure your avatar how many times equal to your proficiency bonus and you regain them after a long rest. When you conjure your fighting spirit, you and your avatar gain the following benefits:

  • Your avatar gains an armor class of 10 and 15 hit points and you regain hit points equal to 1+ your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1)
  • Your avatar can use an Unarmed Strike and Flurry of Blows
  • Your avatar can use Flurry of Blows Without using any ki
  • You can move your avatar out 10 feet as a bonus action

Enhanced Avatar

Beginning at 6th level, your avatar now has an armor class of 12 and 16 hit points. You also gain the ability to spend 1 ki point to heal your avatar for 1+ your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1) as a bonus action. Finally, your avatar can now be moved 15 feet instead of 10.

Ora Barrage

Starting at 11th level, you can spend 3 ki points to empower your avatar's Flurry of Blows. Your avatar's Flurry of Blows becomes three attacks instead of two and if the last attack hits, the target is pushed back 5 feet.

Inner Spirit

Starting at 17th level, you can spend 5 ki points to become one with your avatar for one minute. You keep your health, armor class, and speed. You gain the following benefits:

  • You become immune to one condition or damage type for the duration
  • You crit on 19 and 20
  • You can hover over the ground, gaining a fly speed of 15 feet
